Banana Fish (2018)
I actually cried
This is the Game of Thrones of Anime. You never know who is going to make it to the next episode. I just finished it, and I don't know what to do now. I will definitely watch it again, one day.
Gekkan shôjo Nozaki-kun (2014)
Great almost until the last episode
I really enjoyed the build up, but that last 5 minutes made me feel like I wasted my time. I would have been happier with a cliffhanger than that. Saying that I thought it was cute.
Enola Holmes (2020)
Not a mainstream Holmes tale
You have to go into this movie knowing this is not is Sherlock movie. Enola is a wonderful wall-breaking character.
Is there historical inconsistencies, yes. Yes, the characters are off compared to original books; however, it is a fictional movie and it's fun to go an adventure.
This is a feel good movie about a girl abandoned by her mother, not a mind-bending Sherlock tale.
I loved it.
Love, Death & Robots (2019)
What in the hell is this show, and can I get more!
This 18 short episode is funny, visceral, lusty, scary, and f'ing bloody adventure is something I did not know I needed. Every episode is so unique and imaginative it makes me wonder what drugs the author is on to create each of the amazing stories. I really hope Netflix comes with more seasons.
Fyi this is NOT a family show.
