Dexter: New Blood: Sins of the Father (2022)
I can live with this
Let's face it: This ending could've been better.
But honestly, I don't really care.
I choose to tell myself that they decided to come up with a whole extra season of Dexter, just to make up for the poor ending of the original series 8 years ago. For which I am genuinely grateful.
Now I can close the book forgood.
The Mandalorian: Chapter 16: The Rescue (2020)
Masterpiece
This episode brought me more joy than the three sequels combined. Amazing storyline. Don't think I've ever been so thrilled for the next season.
The 100: The Last War (2020)
Not perfect, yet satisfying
There's a lot to say about season seven. Yes, I think there would've been a better alternative to end this series. And yet, the last scene made me shed a tear. At least it's a happy end.
White Lines (2020)
Very enjoyable series
To all the one star reviews out here, I want to say: Ok, Boomer.
You probably won't get it if you haven't been part of the club scene (and I mean the real scene, not going out occasionally). But when you did/do, this is a very good watch. It really covers the nostalgic feeling from those days.
The Professor and the Madman (2019)
Really do not understand the bad critics
Yes, the story seams quite unrealistic sometimes but it is a very enjoyable film. Excellent acting from both Mel Gibson and Sean Penn.
Bodyguard: Episode #1.6 (2018)
Anti-climax
It's hard to believe that this episode was written by the same person as the previous episodes.
After the first episode, I was happily surprised, as this show was actually pretty good. I wouldn't just say this one ruined the series, but it definitely left me with a very sour aftertaste, as the ending could've been so much better.
