the last economic bubble that will burst western culture
30 January 2023
Once you convince an entire population to stop having children, it's really easy to implode their economy. All you have to do is prey on the most vulnerable people, and use the most desperate and manipulative people to prey on them, making money in the process only the money isn't worth anything anymore, because their entire culture began imploding and not producing anything when it stopped making children.

But yeah, wah men alphabet soup!

Nothing is real, so my consequences have no actions but just because the world is fake and created doesn't mean there's a creator, or consequences to my life choices, so everybody stop caring and just let it all burn.

OR FIND TRUTH AND GOD. AND GET OFF THE SINKING SHIP.

A hidden diamond in the rough
27 December 2021
Great film. Performance from Sheen was fantastic, all the cast did a great job.

Love the artistic feel of using different types of cameras and framing / post processing to give 'era' feels to different scenes.

Comparable to the scrooge story, about making changes today and the different tomorrows they can lead you to. Makes you consider priorities, what you call family and that some things are thicker than blood.

I guess since the ghosts 'christmases past and christmases to come' are more metaphorical it's hard to see the connection, but every time he time travelled he arrived at the same time of year in the other eras. Renaming the film to the age of Tony was probably a good call so viewers who don't appreciate the subtle can see it more clearly, and I agree it's not really a christmas themed movie if you're not looking for it.

But it is a great movie just the same!

Incredibly well written and acted
30 October 2021
I don't say this a lot about titles of the current times because I don't enjoy politicization of film and prefer film to focus on storytelling rather than message sending.

This film delivers on story telling 10 / 10 and there is no political undertones present at all in the character arcs or themes. The themes are purely human and focus on the challenges all mortal beings face; the bigger questions about ourselves.

It is a great break from "the usual", uses broad strokes but isn't too artsy. Probably could have done it in 90 minutes, but I consider it time well spent (and I'm picky)

Sad they removed it from the continuity.
8 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Great film. It's a pity it didn't get added to new 52 continuity, like the other R rated titles are.

Reminds me of Heath Ledger's joker in the whole idea that he tried to get a 'regular' person to go insane like through trauma of loved ones and public humiliation, the same way Joker himself did--but only got proved wrong. SPOILER I liked it, because I like more adult themed cartoons and lets face it, Batman and Batgirl hooking up was totally hot. It's not like they did anything explicit but somehow people got hurt feelings or something because of off camera implications. If you read that much into a cartoon themed for adults, then perhaps you should watch some themed for younger audiences. You have the option.

Idol meets speeddate
14 April 2020
What is this suppose to be? It's not entertaining unless you're watching to see just how big of a disaster a "romance" can be when the attraction is based entirely on your ability to perform--and further: perform someone else's art instead of your own in order to woo. And we wonder why divorce rates are higher than lasting commitment rates?

Rape scenes are not funny and don't belong in comedies
2 February 2020
There is no context to glorify rape of unconscious victims; particularly that of a comedy film. Thumbs so far down they're under the table snapping this disc for being approved of and printed by hollywood.

Superb film, can't even tell it's low budget!
17 December 2019
Great job from everyone involved. Low budget, but still high talent compared to the eye candy (and little else except political propaganda) offered by films from Now-Disney-Owned aka Mickey Moused comic book movies out of the MCU. Phase 4 is a joke, don't waste a dime on it. Watch films like this created by entertainers, actually looking to make the audience happier than the production companies controlling the narrative!!!

A-Typical for Tarintino--hoping Trek project is less boring!!!
3 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I was thrilled to hear Tarantino was doing a Trek film, and figured this film would help boost that anticipation I'm feeling It did the opposite. I'm now less hyped than ever for his Trek project, and considering the ideological turns his most recent film is showing signs of -- I'm leary to say the least about his 10th upcoming project. As for his 9th (this film):

Not enough action. No, I wasn't looking for another Pulp Fiction, and what little we got was somewhat realistic--but I seriously expected to see a *SPOILER* Charlie Manson appearance, and hopefully--a murder or two at his hands. What I got was an off camera post credit assumption that yes, Manson killed these people eventually, about 5 minutes after the credits roll.... and after seeing the lead up to why maybe Manson chose the victims he did from the characters in the film--it suggested their murder had motive and wasn't just senseless. That was the real insult, we were denied seeing that play out. *SPOILER*

What we got, was a double dose of Tarantino's female foot fetish (and unfortunately, no girls desperate to pee like he also tends to throw into the mix--fetishes are fine with me) and some action... but did we need to see Leo freaking out about acting so much? Those scenes would have been better filled by--the Charlie Manson murders I think most of the viewers were expecting. I sure was. Not as terrible as Ocean's H8, Not as bad as the Supergirl plan to kill all former supermen of the 21st century with their F rated (F as in FAIL) crossover event--but only slightly less disappointing than Avengers and Dark Phoenix turned out being.

If this is what we can expect from Tarantino in his 10th film--I hope the 10th is his last, because he's clearly losing steam or had to sell out to some extent to even get his projects green-lit.

Sadly, hollywood producers are trying to sell idealism to an audience that just isn't interested in politics when they're tuning in for theatre. Theatre is what we engage in to escape political issues-don't fill our films and series with it anymore. It's very unoriginal, and if you haven't noticed yet: is causing your studios to lose money... to the point Disney can afford to buy them all.

What if--NASA admitted we never left the atmosphere?
28 November 2019
My review: poor writing, terrible and I do mean TERRIBAD levels of terrible--casting, even worse directing because we're being bombarded by the globalist attitude of tokenism being realistic. Which it isn't.

A fascinating what if--what if we actually DID manage to leave our atmosphere? (What if the challenger explosion in the 90s was caused by the rocket hitting a barrier around the plant's biosphere--like the human body biosphere's cell membranes? O.o)

You know what doesn't make any sense? (Besides NASA's 50 mill per day budget somehow, still, during their peak: producing a shortage that created the narrative "we accidentally taped over the original footage cuz we were low on money, our bad" and "we can get to the moon on a calculator and tinfoil but that type of technology is too painful and expensive to reproduce in the 21st century")

I know everyone is talking about mars--but the ISS isn't even outside earth's atmosphere--it's in low orbit which is why it's easily spotted with the naked eye slowly floating around the sky at night.

If all this amazing CGI can produce all these films about space...

Funny how every nation on earth has bases in Antarctica because it's the last 'international territory' on earth (or a giant saltwater ice shelf)--but only America has a flag on the moon. I guess America owns space but everyone wants to make sure they get their corner of that last, undiscovered continent?

I guess no other country who depends on something like oil, or electricity, has ever considered a lunar solar array for power, or drilling for oil on the moon since eventually earth will run out of it?

Nah, that's all unbelievable--but going to war with the most oil-rich convenient on earth because idealism is what CNN says it is and not what actual idealists of any particular idealism claim they believe (religion, politics, all of the above) THAT's gotta be real--because if it wasn't a lot of rich people would lose money and the poor would rise up.

Limitless (2015–2016)
10/10
CBS cancelled this to pick up Supergirl.
16 November 2019
This show was amazing when it was on the air. It touched on multiple themes and checked just enough PC boxes to keep the leftists at bay.

Then something happened. Hitlery ran for president and everybody wanted to push this idea that women are better stronger faster and more equipped to lead than men. Personal opinions aside, this show is still rated higher after being off the air for 3 years--than super-girl, the series CBS picked up to replace it. Supergirl which now plans to kill not just one but TWO former iterations of superman in the upcoming crossover 'crisis'. Even Michael Rosenbaum didn't get on board for that crap.

Supergirl was at best, 6.9 during season 1, and has dropped steadily every season 0.1 to 0.2 afterwards to a meager 6.3... and it's finally being forced to produce ratings before getting a free renewal for the next season before its current season premieres.

They won't bring back Limitless, or Krypton, or anything else that didn't tow the narrative like Ash vs Evil Dead no matter how much people like them. HollyWOKE is 100% leftist now, and if you haven't found alternatives yet like unauthorized tv....

You're wasting your time and life thinking that any of this is a good idea. It's to make money--PERIOD. (see what I did there?)

George Westinghouse? You spelt "Nicola Tesla" wrong.
15 November 2019
This film not only lacked accuracy, but entertainment value. Who the is George Westinghouse? I mean I've heard of the corporate entity "Westinghouse" which is contributing to the destruction of the world economy as it surrenders its power to the consolidating entities above it responsible for the ongoing collapse of the world economy (an arm of which involves tanking hollywood production studios and franchises... and here we have our modernized 'entertainment')

I literally had never heard of old Georgie boy during my research into electricity, nor from my education which is post secondary level. Not even word of mouth in my 38 years on earth.

Maybe... he wasn't all that important after all, and this film is towing a narrative? Films aren't politicized though right? That's not an ongoing problem or anything since the writer's guild strike of 2007.... right?

A more interesting and entertainment film would have been about Tesla and Edison (Tesla at least got some props and a cameo in 2011's Hugh Jackman starred 'The Prestige')

Lifelong Nick Cage fan--hated this.
13 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This is the first ever Nick Cage flick I've rated below 9. I even liked Ghostrider (Dunno why all the hate) both parts... but I was younger when they were released. Loved Face off. 60 Seconds. Even more recent ones: A Score to Settle was deeply heartwarming. But what the F&@* is this? Did he finally cuck to the wah-men machine taking over hollywood destroying everything from comics to video games to television and movies and even the presidency? What the actual f*@#? I can only hope tt5073642 isn't like this, but we'll see where this goes from here. SPOILER THIS crap was full of male humiliation rituals and unrealistic outcome: do we really expect to believe the cartel responsible for the drugs can trace the cut all the way down the line to fishburne's character, burn him at the steak, and somehow, a superhero level girl agent of the fbi just strolls in and gets away with blowing him away in his own pizza shop after that without any sort of backlash from the same cartel that's so powerful and into shaming men? Where's her burning at the steak and being tortured naked? that's something I'd find more entertaining than doing it to a blackman in a film with all but token white cast (the cartel was awful white to point out your hypocrisy further filmmakers and casting agents) no ladies, that's now how this ends--that little girl just got herself and those kids she fought the whole film to protect--killed by the cartel. They can track her down just as easily. Already knew she was in touch with fishburne's character--remember?

First Nick Cage film I'll rate this low, and hopefully the last. He's just desperate for cash, and overall at least his character was the only respectable protagonist / antihero minus how it ended for him. I just hope the guy doesn't sell out like the rest of them...

Miles ahead of the new Terminator but could be better
12 October 2019
RIP John Connor. Let the franchise die with him; back to back flops is unforgivable and unsurvivable.

Last blood on the other hand is a great final chapter to the Rambo! Saga. There were issues, not being clear about Veitnam was a big screw up, and there were a few minor things they should have polished off; and they probably could have gotten away with at least one shot of breasts and not been afraid of the feminists... this isn't the movie they'll support no matter what you put into it so just ignore them.

Overall 7 / 10 for being good to the franchise but not great to potentially new fans who won't get the references.

Britney Murphy would have loved it, who remembers Abandoned 2010?
11 October 2019
Exactly what this generation of filmgoers needs to see. Ten stars. This film is very similar to "Abandoned, 2010" where a woman takes her fiancee into the hospital for something seemingly routine and minor, only to wait hours fall asleep and wake to find they have no idea what she's talking about, or who her fiancee or his doctor are.

This film is a fantastic psychological thriller much like Abandoned only gender swapped for something 'fresh' that many modern film-goers need to see. Here he have a husband and father taking his family to the hospital, and daring to nap only to wake and find their existence erased.

The love of a husband and father being put to the test when the world around him is full of lies, desperate to convince him his family never existed and he should just give up on them or that maybe he himself is ill and it's all in his mind. 10 stars. The parallels are undeniable and I have to say, this movie outshines it's predecessor. A clever and creative take on the rules of gender swapping today's film makers need to adhere to in order to produce and distribute their visions.

Garfield's best performance since The Amazing Spiderman
26 September 2019
Fantastic work of filmography which is THANKFULLY, not following the destabilize-western-culture-and-values narrative seen in most of the work coming out of the child sex ring known as mainstream media. Garfield puts on a great performance in this dark thriller chasing the proverbial 'girl of his dreams' but uncovering a mystery far more interesting, making this a great and exciting story from start to chilling end!

Are we learning yet production companies!?!?
13 September 2019
You were WARNED. You CANT kill a title character AND have a future. IDIOTS! You were warned not to kill Riggs or your show would flop. You killed Riggs... and Your show bombed.

You didn't learn with Lucifer. You clearly didn't learn with Krypton #SaveKrypton And now you've lost another franchise for at least another 5 years until some moron thinks casting it all female will make the next flopped reboot a good cash cow for 1-2 seasons.

NO. NONONO. Think LONG TERM if you want to make money. STUPID ENTITLED CHILDREN! FIRE THESE PEOPLE AND HIRE THE ONES YOU SHAMED WHO MADE YOU MONEY.

unrealism and leftist cinema
26 August 2019
I remember immersive films. Films that you felt like you lived in. Some would call it their intention. This is so historically false, nobody lived it. I have met a lot of black Jacobs in my time, but none of them were Vietnam war vets.

A PC (painfully cliche) shot for shot remake? I could just watch the orig on bluray with adjusted tint.

Know how to write if you're going to write a 'review'
16 August 2019
Grammar and english lessons aside--this film isn't a hollywood blockbuster. It doesn't have EXPLOSIONS It doesn't have PREACHY LIBERALISM It has: -Creative Vision -Acting that shows effort, not over the top attention whoring like 'A listers' -A breakout appearance for Voiceover Pete -Artistic value

If you're expecting to be motivated to throw a bottle of piss by watching this movie, then move along. You'll only want to throw popcorn (and maybe, a rotten tomato)

What has this series devolved into? why is it still on the air? (((Who would pay for such a bad investment)))
15 August 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Description: "On the run from a drug deal gone bad, Mike Ross, a brilliant college dropout, finds himself a job working with Harvey Specter, one of New York City's best lawyers" ===Spoilers follow=== Season 9 is current Is this really still an accurate summary? Mike stopped smoking pot in what, season 4? Mike was written off the show in season 7! The only accurate phrase of the description is 'Harvey Specter, one of New York City's best lawyers" and it really doesn't describe the show even remotely well (or the character in my opinion)

Maybe when you can't negotiate with title character actors behind closed doors, you're producing the show wrong and should stop screwing the talent. This show most likely will not survive season 9, as now Jessica has also left the series and we have a handful of new actors to try and fill the gaps who are spreading themselves so thin all character on the series they play are basically one person, reflecting a general lack of talent. Please cancel this series. It's a rather whitewashed cast anyway, and I'm conservative so you won't see me saying that too often. I just don't like the way this show has been written since ... well season 4, when Mike quit pot, and the show was no longer what the imdb page described it as.

7 August 2019
This film is just living proof that you don't need to be a preachy, leftist billionare to produce a quality, HILARIOUS slasher flick. If you got offended by this film, it's probably because you took the context of the film to be serious. Get a sense of humor, and then get over yourself.

Sad to see a great series having it's seasons cut shorter and shorter--Why?
30 July 2019
The fans love it, so naturally--it must be not following the narrative. Have to admit, 3 seasons, 0 Trump bashing--can't help but wonder--if the fans love it, and it's not Pro Choice, Painfully Cringeworthy, or even Pathetic Crying -- (see what I did there?)--Heck, you'd almost think this is a series where the cast and crew is... TRYING TO ENTERTAIN YOU WITH THEIR TALENTS?!?! Is that the only reason it looks like it will be cancelled before season 4?

Summary
29 July 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Pros: -Minimal Bree Larson -Cap worthy of the Hammer -They killed my least favourite avenger *spoiler*(BW)*spoiler* -Decent battle scene (could've been better)

Cons: -PC one liners (she lacks awe, she's preachy and I skipped her film) -Phase 4 looks bleak (all orig white male avengers are now black female) -Too much drama and smug filler (and yet no post credits scene) -They killed my favourite avenger *spoiler*(Tony Stark)*spoiler*

-Overall kinda slow moving and boring, heavy on the preachy and I'm glad Stan Lee didn't live to see it happen.

Post production failures don't take away from this film
28 July 2019
There was some failures post production that the Director was not thrilled about--but over all the characters, plot, and themes of the film are not affected. Great change of pace from the typical politically loaded crap of today, and still released in 2019; guys looking for a nice movie to chill to will not be disappointed.
