First of all, it looks suspiciously like a remake of "Air Force One", but with a female president (in 2013).

I have no recollection of an Alistair Maclean novel entitled "Air Force One Is Down", and I believe I have read them all. Could that not be the original title?

A good mini series. Makes you wander, is that really possible?

I enjoyed both the plot and the acting in this movie. Nicholson and Freeman make such a perfect "odd couple", even thought Nichoson's character looks like an aging version of the character he played in "As Good as it Gets". I do believe the "tear jerker" element was highly exaggerated.

I only had two little problems - one, I recommended it to my elderly mother and her friends, but then I had second thoughts... would you? And two **( spoiler!)**, If Freeman's character was the first to "kick the bucket". how could he know when Nicholson's character died?

Go see the movie. Just go prepared...
