Wonderful little movie for kids!
16 March 2022
I saw it with my little girl who is 6 years-old, and she liked it! The cinema was filled with kids....might have been around 70 or 80 kids. It was fun, exciting and the kids were commenting on the scenes.

It was a lovely little story about friendship, confidence, honor & loyalty. Sure its not Disney, Dreamworks or even Pixar quality, but for an indie-animated film designed for children, I thought it was quite good.

This time around, its girls who are front and center throughout the whole film and they have to look after themselves, instead of a macho or smarter fella showing up to show them how to make it on their adventure. Some of the characters make mistakes....and pay for them. Like real life, you learn from your mistakes and more importantly; own up to them.

Not sure why this movie is getting so much hate. Like said, its for children. Just by looking at the poster or even photo stills, you can tell its not for older children.

If you have small kids, give it try. I think they might dig it. Just like my beautiful little girl did =D Ella was a brave girl. Good message for kids. Especially little girls.

disjointed with no narrative whatsoever

Warning: Spoilers
Its a bunch of scenes one after another with various people of the town who are tired of the redoing the history over and again on Halloween. One thing I did have to admit, was that the townspeople were right to do something about the ongoing massacres themselves....the law was failing time and time again.

The camera direction was not nearly as intensifying as it should be...Halloween is known for his incredible camera work. None of that can be found here.

Terrible movie.....good thing I at least saw it for free with my member movie ticket. Nowhere near as good as the previous installment. One.

So much fun. Great blend of serious horror and funny fun!

Kathryn & Vince hardly share any screen time together, and manage to pull off some incredible performances. I honestly forgot at some points that they were switched (actually believed Kathryn was a homicidal maniac & Vince was a very confused girl in a man's body).

The pacing was good, lots of good jokes, hard kills and bloody fun. What more can you ask of a movie?

Perfect sequel

Perfect sequel to an innovative horror comedy. Wonderfully balances comedy, slasher-horror, science-fiction & heart-filled drama Plus Jessica Rothe delivers a dedicated performance which makes the experience all the more richer. Stay during the mid-credits for a hilarious epilogue

Really good

Warning: Spoilers
From start to finish of season 1, I was enthralled. I loved the energy and the clashing of the characters, because lets be honest, people who have had friends for many years (even just a few years) know that you have run ins with each other. It happens. Honest people can attest to this, and false people know it in their hearts.

Loved this show, and I thought the performances were great, dialogue absolutely hilarious and it warmed my heart to see them "get along" from time to time because they've known each other for 20 years.

The dynamic between (Fun) Ethan & Sam was terrific. They seemed like were right for each other. However it is funny how they show Sam and her husband and being somewhat clunky with each other (making the audience feel like she'd be better off without him if not for her already established life & family) and they show Lisa & Ethan and being pretty good together and making this happen - except when they not so good. Which is heartbreaking. Those flashback scenes when Ethan is fantasizing about her while he has to "fill the cup" are tremendous and character driven.

I feel like Marianne & Nick get a bit of a raw deal with character development and dynamic with the rest of the group of adults. Hopefully this will get a SECOND SEASON and they can branch out a little more to get all six characters bouncing off each other.
