A restless sweet romance: "Path of love seemed easy at first, what came was many hardships"
27 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Conjugal Visit is a real restless sweet love story that portrays the boundary between freedom and liberality, that conscience is the most valuable essence of the nature of human being and how love can affect the wills and manners of people , a story on trust , commitment and self-sacrifice.

The acting and cinematography are at a great level especially Parinaz Izadyar and the chemistry of the main actor and actress is real. The movie starts slow at first but gradually absorbs the audience in it and the happy ending is what the audience seek to leave the theaters happily, although I myself liked it to end other way(for instance it was more dramatic and theatrical to end where the young boy wrecked Farhad's car). The weak point of the movie to point out is the unacceptable reason for Farhad's confinement as we get to know Farhad's character. In one sentence we can describe the movie as our great poet Hafez said: "Path of love seemed easy at first, what came was many hardships"

The whole universe was so small for him,let alone a Cell!

Hatem is the portrait of a real iranian man from traditional viewpoint,a point of view that may not be accepted in modern or post modern viewpoint. Why should you take all this burden and why should you tolerate it?

Hatem is a man of ethics, moral codes and strict principles that never weakens, whatever happens. Loyal, trustworthy and honest. A man that accepts the consequences of his actions. This is the reason why Maral loved him from the bottom of her heart.

All the major characters have one thing in common, which is the root to the difficulties and hardships they are facing, tolerating and fighting for, LOVE. Loving the family, loving the people around you, loving the opposite sex. "Father,What can wash away the grieve in your eyes."

And at the end, the loneliness of Rama in this unfair world can be felt quite well when his supporters are no longer around him.

I liked this episode and I hope you may like it.

What an impressive and moving movie! I really enjoyed the play and the real acting of Sir Anthony Hopkins and his caring daughter Olivia Coleman. This is a movie I reccomend everybody to watch.

Unclear and sheer cliche!
13 January 2021
It seems as if the director just wanted to spend some time telling a very cliche and unbelievable story to come to the final sequence conclusion.Disappointing and weak episode.

As expected this episode was good and promising and it shows that the series is warming up. The actings are real and believable and good directing is conspicuous. Keep going Hooman.

Good as the beggining, but confusing at the end.
6 January 2021
For the great and outstanding iranian actors acting in this series like Navid and Saber Abar, no certain and particular acting was seen but as the first episode it was acceptable and makes us want to watch the next episodes although the ending was peculiar and a bit unrealistic and somehow disappointing, but I think it is just the beginning,So soon to judge and evaluate.we continue to follow, and so do you.
