The Gloaming (2020– )
9/10
Slow burning and cinematic
10 February 2020
I thoroughly enjoyed watching The Gloaming. The slow burn and cinematic landscapes set the atmosphere so wonderfully and pulled the watcher in seamlessly. The onscreen presence of Emma Booth as Molly McGee and her chemistry with Ewen Leslie as Alex O'Connell along with a character filled support cast simply made this series. I love that the series was unashamedly Australian, it makes me want to visit Tasmania now more than ever. I look forward to seeing if there is a second series. We need more quality TV like this!

Glitch (2015–2019)

I'm hooked and I need more!

Glitch really captured me from the first episode. I was drawn in by the sci fi premise, loving everything science fiction, but stayed for the great acting, the emotional scenes and the Australian environment.

I cannot recommend this show enough, to those who love sci fi, but also low key small town drama, interaction and really good acting. The relationships seem real, the reaction to the situation the characters find themselves in is not dumbed down black and white but complex, messy and seems like it could be real.

I REALLY hope there is a third season!
