Rashash (2021)
Let's keep it going
So if we are going to talk about Rashash as a arabic or more specifically saudi Series it's a huge success, but If we are going to talk about it and compare it with other series let's be honest it's a meh.
And don't get me wrong the story is good and exciting but there was huge mistakes unforgivable mistakes really.
Let's start with the obvious the accents!
I always get disconnected when they don't get the accent right and they didn't get it right 80% of the time! And what's frustrating about it is they didn't have to make all the characters try and get the accent they are not mimicking the real story so they can let the actors talk in their real accents
The other thing is The actors are recording their voices over the video! It seems that the mics were off when they were shooting the scenes so they had to record themselves talking and try to lip-synch it with the video!! This is so bad even the worst Series don't do such mistake.
The voice of the actors doesn't move around that much there is scenes where the actors are far and they come closer and the voice doesn't change, doesn't get louder or more clear!
And some actors are bad at lip-synching this is so annoying!!
Lastly there are some Points in the story that didn't make sense like Rashash getting fired because he was selling drugs in an army facility?? Just fired?? Wow
And there is more but I'll just leave it at that
So I don't think it has many mistakes but the problem is that the mistakes were huge
overall I would say I enjoyed watching it and I hope in the future Arabic/saudi series would try to top it and get better.
Masameer County (2021)
A promising start
(The overall rating is the average rating of every episode individually)
I was disappointed at first, especially with the first two episodes, because they resemble a lot of what we see in TV, so i was like "nothing changed".
It was similar in the ideology and messages that are not in place for a series like this
Although the meaning behind the second episode was beautiful
But thankfully The remaining episodes were better and it kept going up, the remaining episodes often had an interesting story that wasn't overshadowed by a message for something in particular.
And I have to stop at episode 5 "The Plumber", which was undoubtedly the best episode, although it was overshadowed by its message, it came with a comical and interesting story, especially when "Mounir" distributed the works to the competing networks.
And the domination of his archenemy with his helpers.
I also liked the moderation of the street language in this episode, unlike previous episodes, where the street language were strangely too much!
The Queen's Gambit (2020)
Not so bad but not even good
Predictable in it most parts no original ideas and they doing the same scenes over and over again
Enola Holmes (2020)
Netflix movie what did we expect?
TBH I thought it's going to be a good movie discarding the fact that Netflix love to shove their ideology in their movies and series till it comes pointless. (And don't get me wrong we like equality)
But they tried so hard they forgot to tell us why her mother was gone and they forgot to make Enola find her instead they threw too many feminist thing like "don't be thrown off course by other people ESPECIALLY MEN!" (The bad feminist as you can see) after that in the end they are reunited without solving any mysteries making the movie pointless as I said earlier this is what Netflix dose (every time)
Six Windows in the Desert (2020)
In case You're wondering why the bad rating
Well one of the actors was sending his fans to I MDB to raise the rating which is pathetic and wouldn't give an honest opinion of the movie
Game of Thrones (2011)
Why
If it's not good till the end it's a bad show or you can watch it till the seventh season if that ok (:
