A highly recommend podcast for everyone of all ages. Scam Junkie (2023)
Best true crime podcast on Spotify!
As an avid true crime podcast fan I can honestly say that Scam Junkie is by far the best. And it should be because it's hosted and produced by Steve Comisar, aka Brett Champion , The Don of Con, a real life legendary con artist who made a fortune over his 30 year career. He shares his secrets on how to use his techniques legally to make money and influence people into doing whatever you want them to. It's funny, educational and informative. Head and shoulders above the rest. The next time you're looking for a great new podcast you can look no further because here it is. Scam Junkie is on Spotify and many other podcast platforms. They drop new episodes weekly. As most true crime podcasts fizzle out within their first few months, Scam Junkie has proven its staying power with a rapidly growing audience and steadily increasing popularity documented by their high ratings.
Tough Luck (2003)
Great female con artist movie!
Savvy femme fatale (Dagmara Dominczyk) marries then tries to con the owner of a traveling carnival (Armand Assante) The plot thickens as she meets Archie, a traveling grifter (Norman Reedus) and then tries to con Stan, a wealthy gambler (Steve Comisar). Filmed in Mobile, Alabama, posing as New Orleans, this cool indie film has elements of the old film noir movies and everyone's acting is spot on. The film has a surprise ending that won't be spoiled here. But this reviewer strongly suggest that you go see Tough Luck because it is a really good movie. Whether it is an $8M indie movie, or or a $200M blockbuster, this is a really fast moving, exciting, and well acted movie. By Richard Corliss - Movie Reviewer Time Magazine.
Crook & Chase: Episode dated 7 August 1998 (1998)
The best daytime talk show of the 90's
If you've ever watched Crook & Chase you already know how great the show was. They had every type of celebrity guest. For example Steve Comisar a reformed con man and Hollywood actor would come on and pull live scams on the studio audience. Dolly Parton was also a regular guest. Steve Comisar had a drawing where he gave away a brand new Ferrari to later find out it was a Matchbox toy Ferrari. I couldn't stop laughing. The show was broadcast live which means anything can happen and sometimes it did. One time a spotlight fell off the ceiling and came crashing down only inches away from hitting Charlie the host. It was live so everyone at home got to see it.
Leeza (1994)
The best talk show since Phil Donahue and Sally.
Leeza is not only beautiful but she's highly intelligent and very funny too. I loved it when con man Steve Comisar came on and pulled live scams on her studio audience. He made these scams look easy but that's what he does. He gains your confidence and before you know what hit you all your money is gone. I wish Leeza would come back with a new show. She got her start on Entertainment Tonight and then produced and hosted her own show for many years. A real winner and she deserves a lifetime achievement award or some other type of recognition. Leeza, Sally, and Phil Donahue were the pioneers of the daytime talk show.
Sally Jessy Raphael (1983)
Steve Comisar was best guest ever!
The best daytime talk show ever on television. And Sally's best guest ever was con man Steve Comisar (aka Brett Champion) who not only conned the entire studio audience but he also got into huge fight with one of the other guests. After Comisar took all the audience members credit cards Sally announced she was running away with the Comisar. Now those were the days of exiting daytime television! Come back Sally! Now would be the perfect time for a newly revamped Sally show! There's literally nobody else on daytime television as good as Sally Jessy Raphael. She is funny, witty, and who doesn't love the trademark red glasses!
The Station Agent (2003)
The best movie I have ever seen!
I laughed, I cried, I didn't want this movie to end. It is Thanksgiving day 2021 at around 5:00 A. M. and I stumbled upon this gem as I was changing channels. The movie is about 20 years old. At the time most of this amazing cast was practically unknown. A low budget indie film I never heard of. Just ten minutes into the movie I found myself standing inches away from the TV screen balling like a baby. I promise you that no matter who you are you will love this movie. The best ensemble cast ever. To get this cast now the budget alone would be into the high double digits. Just go see it. You will not be disappointed. I'm actor Steve Comisar and I'm coming over there to kick your ass if I find out you don't watch this great movie today. I wouldn't steer you wrong. Ten stars!
In the Mind of... Con Artists (1999)
The best prime time TV special on con men!
If you like to watch talented con artists fool greedy suckers then this is the one for you. This program is so well done and was produced by Cosgrove Meurer Productions, the team that brought you "Unsolved Mysteries" and many other documentary type programming. Best of all it stars Steve Comisar probably the most famous and talented character n man of all time. The only downside was the show left us wanting to see more. In the end (spoiler alert) we find out that Steve even fooled the producers. You don't want to miss this!
