It is an insult to all the actors and others involved with the original. They all must be rolling or should say cartwheels in their Graves.

About the scene on the fire escape with Kramden and Norton, there would have never ever have any talk about Alice's nakedness. That surely would not clear the censor back then.

Even the scene in sewer at end, Ralph couldn't get through the manhole.

The flashbacks, remind you of how crazy they all are in good ol' Hooterville.

Such crazy stories. Never hit upon a clunker. Such great writers with exceptional imaginations.

Even the credits are so crazy.

That's what separates this show from all the rest.

It's just a shame and pity that executives had to listen to bad advice and cancel Such great programs that were still in top 5. Ignorant idiots.

In objection, to the one that didn't like this.

I believe you miss the comedic point.

It's not that it was discovered as a child's toy, it's all that led up to the discovery.

A person can really relate to being alone and everything quiet. Every little sound is amplified and a person begins talking to himself.

Dick van Dyke demonstrates that with such genius. Buddy's one liners are a scream.

I dont know who wrote that terrible review and everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but that opinion is simply so ludicrous !!!

For one thing, it's a cartoon. In the cartoon world, anything is possible, hence, an anvil dropping on the head with no injuries. Look at loonytunes cartoons. Cant examine every little detail.

Secondly, at the end, it does explain that it was only a dream. This happens alot in dreamworld whether ttelevision or reality.

Thirdly, the song, 'Let the sun shine in' does tell a moral just like most of their episodes.

Bottom line is that it's a cartoon. You said it right. Cartoons are a form of escapism.

Enjoy it, not examine it !!!
