SEASON 2 PLEASE!!!
2 February 2024
Exceptional acting, exceptional music, exceptional storyline! It's NOT basic boring writing. These characters have breadth and width! Yes there were uncomfortable moments when I wanted to slap the parents silly but if you don't understand how the characters are layered then your TV watching and literary skills may need to be upgraded. I appreciated the Patois language and that it was only watered down just enough to engage the simpleminded watcher. The speed of the show was spot on. There are So many opportunities to delve into each characters stories and personalities. I'm excited for season 2.

Missed this/Missed that

I can truly see Heidi & Tim's vision. I love that the stress was taken off the designers by having seamstresses, therefore, leaving room for designers that are not great sewers. It also got rid of the infighing that reality /competition shows are popular for. Having said that (and not being a fan of cat/dog fights) I wasn't rooting for any particular designer. They all had a vision and you wanted them to succeed but they all had glaring flaws that made you understand why they hadn't reached a top designer level. K & T's excursions were a little kitschy but okay filler. A sophomore attempt will probably flow better.

A light hearted view of finding love in the music buisness and maintaining that same love. Tracee Ellis Ross chanels her mother in beautifully warn clothes. I don't care for "sing songy" shows like Emipre and Glee so I was impressed that the music numbers were appropriate. Tracee and Dakota were a "Hallmark movie" made in heaven match.
