a total waste of my time
Goal II: Living the Dream (2007)
good but lacked the inspiration and spirit of the first flick
Goal 2 - Living the Dream.
Only for people who have watched Goal 1...if you haven't then go and watch goal 1 first...after that you will be dying to watch the sequel.
Goal 2 is good. I am sure all football fans and Real Madrid fans in particular will be delighted to see their favorite stars in action from time to time in the movie...but somehow it lacked the spirit and flair of the first flick...the emotions and the inspiration that you got from d first are missing...but again....not many sequels prove to be as good as d first...
The story carries on from where the first one ended with our boy Santiego Munez proving his worth for New Castle Utd. and getting all the adulation that he deserves...things begin to change with him being offered a place in the star studded Real Madrid club...where he finds hard to cope with the media attention and suddenly comes face to face with his mother who had left him when he was a kid and also meets his younger stepbrother...which results in him spending one night in jail and almost losing her cute British girlfriend and breaking ties with his old manager.
But dear Santi manages to overcome all that and gets back to doing what he does best...playing football with all his heart...and we love him for that...
Jury Duty (1995)
the movie is a rip off from a Hindi film
i saw this movie on a DVD last night and the movie reminded me of a Bollywood film named "EK RUKA HUA FAISLA" which means A PENDING VERDICT. jury duty is a total rip off from this movie. but the Hindi flick was far better scripted and it was brilliantly acted by some of the most talented actors Indian film industry has. if you ppl don't believe wat has been written then check out this link.. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0157571/.
the Hindi movie was released in 1986 whereas jury duty in 1995. so at last we have a Hollywood film ripping ideas from a bollywood(i prefer to call it the Hindi film industry). and it was done way back in the eighties!!!! so guys please for one time spare the poor bollywood film makers guilty of lifting off ideas from Hollywood .
Revolver (2005)
this movie rocks !!!!
I was waiting for this movie after i had seen snatch and lock, stock.
I was looking for another sequential comedy but i was taken aback by this
gripping thriller . i think this movie is in in league with Fight club
and Memento. looking forward to guy Ritchie's next offering .
He along with Tarantino and martin Scorsese is one of my favorite directors.
I wonder why people have given the movie such a low rating.
Looks like not many have been able to understand the movie but i am
sure it will pick up. Where is your creativity guys? this movie is
simply superb !!!!!!
8 out of 10
