Oppenheimer (2023)
Nolan's and Murphy's Best Work
You must experience it, rather than reading my review.
I cannot express it in words that how great this is.
As an avid fan of historical dramas and biopics, I was thrilled to watch "Oppenheimer," the highly anticipated film that chronicles the life of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the enigmatic physicist who played a pivotal role in developing the atomic bomb during World War II. Directed by the brilliant Christopher Nolan and starring an exceptional cast, the movie delivers a compelling narrative of a complex figure and the morally ambiguous era in which he lived.
The film's production values are truly remarkable. Nolan's visionary direction, combined with masterful cinematography, creates a visually stunning experience. From the sweeping shots of the New Mexico desert, where the Los Alamos laboratory was set up, to the tense and atmospheric laboratories, the movie succeeds in immersing the audience in the historical context of the 1940s.
Cillian Murphy's portrayal of J. Robert Oppenheimer is nothing short of captivating. He embodies the physicist's inner turmoil, intelligence, and ambition flawlessly. Murphy's performance brilliantly captures Oppenheimer's transformation from an ambitious young scientist to a conflicted man grappling with the ethical implications of his groundbreaking work. The supporting cast, including Marion Cotillard as Katherine "Kitty" Puening and Michael Caine as Richard Tolman, provide stellar performances, adding depth and emotion to the narrative.
The movie effectively balances the scientific aspects of the Manhattan Project with the personal and ethical dilemmas faced by the characters. It delves into Oppenheimer's complex personality, portraying him as more than just a brilliant scientist. The film highlights his relationships with colleagues, particularly his often-fraught interactions with Edward Teller (played convincingly by Tom Hardy), and his romantic entanglements, particularly his affair with Kitty Puening.
One of the film's most commendable aspects is its willingness to confront the moral implications of the atomic bomb's development. It doesn't shy away from the devastating consequences of the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, forcing the audience to grapple with the ethical ambiguity surrounding Oppenheimer's actions. The movie raises important questions about the cost of scientific progress and the responsibility of scientists in the face of unprecedented power.
Choricha Mamla (2020)
Overall Great Entertainer
Overall, a great family entertainer and best even in a 2020 release. Better Screenplay, Good Cinematography(Could have been a slightly better), good dialogues, acting of all actors is perfect and everyone suited on their character.
You know what, I was reading all reviews and some are saying great, some are saying good and some are saying average and bad. It all depends on your choice, taste and preference because bollywood has spoiled the taste and preference of its audience. They have nothing more to create and to show. After all, bollywood has nothing to create original and different as almost 99% is either remaked (even in olden times) or either scenes are copied or either inspired by some or other movies. This choice and preference can be improved only when you start watching more movies no matter what language or genre it is, and when you stop watching bollywood movies. Even if a foreigner reading this review, I'II suggest him not to watch any bollywood movies because they are not worth watching and it and it will degrade and make your movie preferences worst .
Anyway, It was a great experience while watching. If you seriously and thoroughly watch this movie, you will connect yourself with this movie. A perfect and superb comedy entertainer and worth watching.
