Hogan's Heroes: Is There a Traitor in the House? (1969)
One scene is worth the viewing effort
Newkirk enjoying his comped cigar while ogling the female broadcaster is my top moment in the whole series. How it subsequently impacted Klink is a visual joy to behold.
The lines after the surprise twist unfolds are some of the best written. Richard Dawson oftentimes was burdened with too much one-dimensional, stereotyped Brit material, but in this episode he was given the chance to display his ability to portray a more complex character.
Hogan's Heroes: The Antique (1969)
This had many interesting facets
This was funny, beginning to end. The scenes with LeBeau by themselves would merit this an 8-star rating. The repartee between Hogan and Klink bargaining for Hogan's antique consultant "fee" is some of the best writing in the entire series. Add Schultz and Burkhalter during the climax, and this episode easily makes the Top 20.
