The Hungover Games (2014)
My favourite steaming pile of garbage
It is awful. Terrible. One of the worst parody movies ever made. The acting is atrocious, the jokes are as flat as a glass window and I lose braincells just thinking about it.
For me, it's so terrible than it's funny. The amount of effort put into this is in the negatives. Who thought it was a good idea to greenlight this? Why was this even made? Was there a script at all?
I just giggle thinking how they had to do this crap with a straight face. I become more disabled listening to these people talk with the enthusiasm of a funeral.
It provides the same intellectual entertainment as TV static.
Despite all of that, it's my favourite. It is so unbelievably stupid that I find amusement that somebody was desperate enough for peanuts to "act" in this.
Turning Red (2022)
Better Than I Expected
It was a heart-warming film. I've seen people bash it before it even came out so my expectations were a little low, but it was undeserved.
It really is a wonderful movie. There isn't an actual antagonist, which I like - it's about family, friendship, perspective and growing up.
It just happens to involve a mystical red panda.
Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace (2021)
Disgusting
Apparently, the director and producer are on booger sugar as that's the only way to explain this atrocity to the eyes and ears.
It's written like a nail driven into a chalkboard and has more lies than bread in a bakery. I've seen better acting from my snake.
Salò o le 120 giornate di Sodoma (1975)
Be Cautious
This is a disgusting thing to look at, but has a story to tell. People in power, if left unchecked, will continually exploit that power, especially if for their entertainment.
All the people in this film, except for the rich guys, want to die. They're made to eat literal backdoor fudge, all for the fun of these individuals.
Rich people get away with more than they should. Jeffery Epstein is one such example. It's brutal to watch, but interesting, since as soon as you think it can't get more insane, it does.
Srpski film (2010)
Not for the faint of heart
I've known about the history behind this movie, how it's essentially a middle finger to censorship. That doesn't detract from the atrocities that you'll see. This is a very hard film to watch, even if you know what happens.
You should know the history behind the film before watching it, because it'll make things slightly easier to tolerate.
This film will trigger you. Watch with caution and take care of yourself.
Saltwater: The Battle for Ramree Island (2021)
Was this directed by stoned children?
I love Dog Soldiers, I have a fondness of Jaws and a guilty pleasure for the Lake Placid series. I had reasonably low expectations, expecting to see people get mauled to slivers by hungry crocodiles with a lot of banter.
I got a steaming pile of cat waste dumped on my face instead. It's based on actual real events, but gods sake, Tommy Wiseau can act better.
The only explanation is that somebody gave drugs to tweens and made them direct this yeast infected lettuce of a 'film',
