Superstore: Hair Care Products (2021)
Doesn't really fit, still great
I think this is, controversially, one of the better written ones.
The Garrett/Jonah dynamic (and that of the rest of the staff) is a great take on how the two "groups" interact with eachother about racism. Their dialogue as a whole was a great metaphor.
Although I don't think it's *that* in-your-face, such a political statement at the cost of the usual cynical ""woke"" humour doesn't really fit this series and makes it a slightly uncomfortable episode.
The Office: Murder (2009)
Absolutely sublime
"Murder" has a great arc that sets the dynamic between the co-managers in a time of crisis and shapes the way they communicate with the others.
The density of jokes is really high, and as cherry on top: the awkward phone call with David's assistant is one of the better "Michael phone calls" this season.
Community: Curriculum Unavailable (2012)
Genius
The writing in this episode blew my mind. It gets very meta about being meta about being absurd again, something they do every so often.
Meanwhile, each individual commitment to the group is highlighted, and the dynamics within the group as well.
The Main Event (2020)
Amazing
Samson is clearly disabled, and gets bullied for it by Kid Chaos.
Planet of the Humans (2019)
Best comedy I have ever seen
Although I wholeheartedly agree with the message that we have to find different ways of energy production (or at least a different approach), this sensationalised documentary uses outdated, misleading and sometimes even blatantly wrong information. This documentary is a danger to a healthy debate about climate change and solutions for harmful ways of energy production and should be treated as such.
