Our Flag Means Death (2022)
Awesome
It's fresh air for all the fanbases that claim attention from networks/creators, since it's the audience who makes views, who mostly don't care about individuals and minorities. This show is damn funny and absolutely emotional, has many POC and queer characters that's so unbeliavable especially when they're written in the right way.
It doesn't happen often I ship couples that are meant to be canon, everybody ships and that are actually good, but Taika and Rhys ARE PERFECT (to quote just one of the romantic ones but the most popular for the right reasons, again)
It's romance, not bromance ❤
9-1-1: Outside Looking In (2022)
5A was bad but 5B is hell
I'm not going to watch it until the show/showrunners apologize to the fans and their own characters.
Saying "go write fanfictions" when you're writing these dumb stuff... sure jan!
All the female characters to become Buck's love interests ONLY (not to mention the Lena/Eddie and Eddiana fiasco) JUST BECAUSE YOU think Buck and Eddie can't be more than friends. That's mysogyny, homophobia and heteronormativity. Congrats on your success.
9-1-1: Wrapped in Red (2021)
Erasing 5A from my memory
Just watched this ep and I didn't care about a single thing happening on screen because the focus it's still on the wrong side. Buck so desperate to make things work, Hen's scenes all focused on Buck's problems and all we've got from Karen are lines from her.
Buck still NOT sure about his relationship and pushing it further just not to feel alone when, HEY, he had a best friend and Christipher might have needed him since... you know, BUCK WASN'T GOING ANYWHERE. Where's the continuity?
WRAPPED IN RED DEDICATED TO TWO (very cute) STRANGERS WITH THE STORYLINE WE WANT FOR BUDDIE?
What's gonna do Eddie? Not working because work is dangerous? Even just stay in your own house can make things dangerous. This makes sense to his mind that thinks he's NOT GOOD ENOUGH and could make sense but when THE real talk with the person who knows him best? TALKING, right, Eddie? Going in circles for 12 episodes is exhausting.
But Buck it's too 'engaged' in a meaningless relationship because (too gay, right) that's what he should do to not feel alone, who cares about his bestie.
(gifting the rescue bracelet to her and not to Chris is telling, I'm writing that down now.)
This is boring and tiring. Who, exactly, asked for a Christmas like this?
Do producers/showrunner forgot that the audience went through a real pandemic and just wants to see some joys on screen?
9-1-1: Past Is Prologue (2021)
is this the het show now
... it's comforting to read about bt shippers accusing oliver of bad acting when he's trying to act in a storyline he doesn't like <3
Yeah, give us more buck and eddie's better narrative choices. This episode is one of the worst and this season is getting acid.
