Why is dark comedy the only comedy avaliable nowadays? Season 1 goes a little further than just the most common and basic alien tropes than most films, so that's nice to see. But the energy of it is still old, negative and wrong. When are we going to see hopeful, bright and more close to the truth messages make its way into entertainment tropes?
I thought that disliked father would get a small emotional moment in that encounter, but nope, backstabbing and wrecking his car instead. Yeah, that's the energy of the 2020s... It's psychotic. Much of the dialouge was clever and smooth, just at the wrong vibe. I'm back to rewatching 90s and 00s series instead.
