Just as good as the book
17 July 2022
Just as good as the book, and conveyed a really important message about strength through adversity and learning to love after heartbreak. Everyone should see this movie.

So far so disappointed
18 July 2021
The first two episodes were nothing short of horrendous. A bunch of nepo babies who can't act going off a script that was clearly written as a cash grab. Watching it felt like I was watching some kind of weird fan-made spin-off: poor production quality, bad acting, it was just terrible.

Might be my new favorite movie
30 December 2019
Initially I thought this film was going to be a predictable "Clue" whodunnit style movie. But it's so original and fun, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! Bravo!

I Am Elizabeth Smart (2017 TV Movie)

Such a brave, wonderful inspiration
30 December 2019
Elizabeth Smart is a truly remarkable woman, and for her to have the courage to detail her story in this manner is nothing short of incredible. No detail is left out, on purpose I'd assume. Her message shows that she is not guilty of what happened to her and those who share similar abuse stories should not be ashamed. For her to agree to do such a detailed and accurate rendition of her story is amazing, and I can not recommend you watch this film enough (and her book, "My Story"), if anything for the lessons of resilience and courage.

Mad Men (2007–2015)

Gives a Gen Z-er a lot to think about...
25 December 2019
Just finished Mad Men on Netflix. The writing is truly spectacular, and I especially recommend turning on subtitles to get the faster-paced, witty humors of the show. I love how the show portrays the era so that the viewer can really put themselves into the characters shoes. And, without giving anything away.of all the shows I've seen on television this has got to be one of the best endings.

Was really looking forward to it...
25 December 2019
I was really looking forward to this, I love everything John Mulaney. However, this just felt bizarre. There were a lot of different points throughout the show where I was wondering "was that supposed to be funny?" Normally, Mulaney's humor is right up my alley (I love Big Mouth) but this just wasn't his best work, felt like a flop. Ignore the 1 star rating though, very few programs deserve a real 1 star.

Accurately Portrays the Modern Teenager
11 July 2019
Unfortunately or fortunately, there's a lot of new facets to teenage life due in part to an increase in technology. "Euphoria" accurately illustrates these increasing changes. Whether it's being preyed on by an older man, or being shamed for one's sexuality "Euphoria" gives a shocking yet startling accurate depiction of the new standard of teenage life and all the dangers it offers.

This show is, often, in poor taste, however, I love that it gives me the break from reality I need whenever I need it.

Surprisingly Good
5 July 2019
I was honestly expecting nothing more than a bunch of superhero-movie cliches, but this was surprisingly original. The initial twist is ~somewhat~ predictable, but as Marvel does best, the post-credit scene was honestly shocking. very good overall, I enjoyed it a lot.
