As we live in the era when most movies don't leave you with deep feelings and stuff to keep thinking about ( 1990s are the best in the field of sentimentals.movies such as the Shawshank redemption,the green mile,fight club and etc) The new movie directed by Casey Affleck moves in opposite direction and touches your heart.The movie includes great meanings that make sense in our daily life although it happens in a different situation and life. ofcourse the movie isn't flawless at all.for me ,the cinematography was the most significant flaw. its unfair to compare the movie to movies like road cause thre are huge differences .I would say comparing it to "the handmaids tale"is a bit wiser. all in all , light of my life is a movie with deep , moral content which happens to be forgotten in these times while marvel movies are people's taste. though not flawless but appreciable

The shining is definitely a masterpiece in field of horror movies.so many movies and directors learned lessons and even started copying stuff from the shining again and again.enormous amount of detail through every single sequence(watch room 237for further explaination) .I wish Kubrick lived more to create more masterpieces like this
