Made You Look: A True Story About Fake Art (2020)
Google is everyone's friend
A simple background check would have uncovered Glafira Rosales' boyfriend had committed art fraud before. No vetting what so ever. Squarely on Ann Freedman. After 30+ years of experience everyone else trusted her including Michael Hammer. The way she openly mocks the accent of one of the victims tells me all I need to know about her character. Very interesting and entertaining documentary.
Inventing Anna (2022)
A solid 4.
One of the few movies I've been looking forward to. Started out eager for the next episode, ended up stopped watching in the middle of the last. Can you imagine? Too much time spent on reporter who is not sympathetic. Dwelling on her distain for becoming a mother during her big story. Before long she and Anna's friends resembled Team America puppets. Chumsky's facial expressions just bizarre. Doesn't do the back story justice.
Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted (2012)
Beyond expectations.
I have two grandsons that I adore. I have been held hostage by many movies so it's nice to get one that's genuinely entertaining. This movie is beyond all expectations. It is funny for all ages. In particular, the humor aimed at adults is not off color or double entendre.
Non stop action. Lots of colorful fun. Many unique characters that make it not seem like just another variation. Great music.
A special mention for Sasha Baron Cohen. I don't normally think he's funny at all. He is a riot as King Julian. Especially this time around he falls in love with a big bear. There is one scene with them that is down right touching.
Highly recommend.
