Boring & Stupid
5 October 2017
This show was the worse thing I have watched on television since I saw an episode of "Caroline in the City". Mark Feuerstein also happened to be in that show as well.

In this "Everybody Loves Raymond Clone" a man moves back to NYC after his divorce. He lives between his parents and brother. His parents also happen to own the building.

Besides any originality the show lack laughs. Linda Lavin is wasted & so is Elliot Gould.

Mark Feuerstein wrote this mess. Maybe he will hire writers who can write. But since he was in every scene in this show his ego is most likely will prevent it!

Stupid & Slow

Ridley Scott returned to the "Alien" franchise he created and gave us this mess. Its not very good. It is not interesting to watch. The visuals are even boring.

The discovery of a clue to mankind's origins on Earth leads a team of explorers to the darkest parts of the universe. Two brilliant young scientists lead the expedition. Shaw (Noomi Rapace) hopes that they will meet a race of benevolent, godlike beings who will in some way verify her religious beliefs, while Holloway (Logan Marshall- Green) is out to debunk any spiritual notions. However, neither the scientists nor their shipmates are prepared for the unimaginable terrors that await them.

This film is a 1/2 too long! If the film kept every scene but moved the action around faster than the audience might not notice the flaws! "Alien Covenant" wasn't any better!

Sick and twisted

This is a film I watched and was very sorry that I did. It is what is wrong with films today. That is "Filmmakers are no longer Filmmakers" but "Idea Men" who have no clear cut vision on how to make something good just flashy.

This is a fictional film that makes what you are seeing is a real case! In this Serial killer Wayne Montgomery is alleged to have committed 41 murders between 1979 and 2007, leaving behind an extensive found footage library of his work.

Please don't watch this.

Still Works Despite Itself
14 July 2017
"west Side Story" perhaps has one of the best scores ever for Broadway show. Every Song is great. The talent behind the camera outshines the leads.

Natalie Wood is great in her role as Maria. Richard Beymer is also very good but there is NO CHEMISTRY between the two leads. However the supporting cast is excellent. The dancers outshine the leads however Rita Moreno & George Chakiris deserved the Academy Awards that the received for their work in this film.

In case you didn't know this is a modern day telling of Romeo and Juliet. This time the rival families are street gangs in New York.

Despite no chemistry between Natalie & Richard the film is still excellent. The last scene with Natalie Wood should have gotten her an Oscar. However since she was dubbed and she had no chemistry with Richard she went home with no statue.

In the documentary on the making of the film you can see why Natalie was dubbed. However today with auto tune I think they would have fixed her voice.

If you ever get the chance to see this on the big screen take advantage of it. It is very impressive on a big screen with big sound!
