Unmasking a Killer (2018)
Great but...not really.
It's a very detailed documentary with informative interviews, clips and great graphics. However, the series could have been done in maybe 2 episodes. Everything is repeated constantly, including graphics shown numerous times and even the graphic saying exactly what the interviewee says seconds later. There is numerous repeated descriptions of the different names of the killer and years they operated AND how many offences they'd committed. It would have been so much more impactful if they had kept it simple. It's wholly unnecessarily done - so it's informative and interesting but it drags on far too long!
Devil in Ohio (2022)
Don't even bother
It's a ridiculous series with a terrible script full of clichés , often wooden acting and terrible direction.
The main female character was supposedly a psychiatrist but the script made her the most inept one to exist - she doesn't listen to people, she asks too many questions at once and too quickly before they have time to answer AND she takes an abused, mentally unstablebgirl home to be around her children without even considering their mental wellbeing and how she might negatively impact them. She hasn't got over her own trauma so would have never been able to become a psychiatrist anyway.
The girl who is "saved" by said psychiatrist, is not even remotely likeable and yet it seems we're supposed to pity her? It also seems to be forgotten that she was homeschooled and only ever interacted with her fellow cult peers as she is familiar with so many different things in the modern world.
Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous (2020)
Definitely Recommend
Surprisingly, this series was incredible. The graphics work well, the story is substantial and runs alongside the Jurassic World Timeline, and the characters have excellent development across the series. Its suspenseful, heartwarming and exciting to watch across all 5 seasons.
Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City (2021)
Just..shockingly bad.
You actually hope that all the characters die so that you are not subjected to this again.
The script is terrible, you get no development or attachment to the characters and the plot is basically non existent.
The graphics are horrendous - if you didn't realise it you'd think this was made at least 15 years ago.
Overall, no substance of any kind for fans of the game or for people wanting an introduction to the franchise.
If you don't know about the games this film will make zero sense to you - and if you DO enjoy the games you will be sorely disappointed with this entry.
