Christian soft porn
14 March 2022
I am shocked at the number of Christian-written user reviews that gave this movie a 9 or a 10. This just shows how numbed and sexualized the world we live in has become, including people call themselves followers of Christ. "The greatest cause of of atheism in the world is Christians who acknowledge Jesus with their lips, and walk out the door and deny him with their lifestyle. That is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable."---Brennan Manning. This movie was no more of a WWJD film than Titanic, a "love story" film which had graphic nudity and 2 people having sex who met a few days earlier--and yet many Christians praised that movie and still watch it on TV at home with their young children around. This movie was highly sexualized...Francine RIvers wrote the screenplay and helped produce the movie, which really disappoints me.

Just Like the SNL cold open every single week the past 4 years
23 October 2020
If you like Alec Baldwin playing the caricature he plays of Trump every single Saturday night, then you will probably love this movie. For those of us who hate that sketch, all 72 times it has been done, then you will hate this movie. I mourn the loss of SNL as a funny show. It was even sort of funny up until 2016, not as funny as it was in its first cast heyday or even in the 80's-90's with Phil Hartman, Mike Myers, Dana Carvey etc., but now SNL is pure rubbish. Just like this movie. I can't imagine the lunatic thoughts that go through Jeff Daniels' head every day.... probably the same ones that go through Alec Baldwin and Robert DeNiro's heads. Everything in this movie has been disproven the past few years.

The List (I) (2007)
10/10
The 4.1 rating is deceptive
16 March 2019
Anytime there is a movie with faith in it, you can expect half of the people to give a review of 1 and the other half to give a review of 10. The reviewers who give a 10 are much more accurate, because they don't have a hateful agenda. The reviewers who despise Christianity feel compelled to fight anytime they can against something they don't believe is true or even care about. I feel sorry for them.

Single Parents (2018–2020)
Leighton Meester
7 January 2019
Or Minka Kelly, or dark haired Gwen Stefani, whichever one it was, was why I checked this out. But won't watch again..truly, every 7 year old kid talks like an adult, or Kevin McAllister-same thing. Maybe Schooled will be better.

Police Squad! (1982)
My favorite lines
14 January 2009
1. Describing a criminal suspect: "Married, one child....that didn't work out so he married a grown woman..." 2. Thug to the locksmith: "I'd hate to see something happen to your little keystore(pronounced 'keester'" 3. Ex con, wearing a jacket that says Penn State on the front: "Every time I turn around people are telling me who I am and where I've been!" He turns around and on the back the jacket says "State Pen" 4. Looking at a file on a criminal: "From what I gather, he was a model prisoner." Then he pulls out a glam photo of the guy posing like a model. 5. "I drove back to the station." Then they show Drebin driving his car backwards through town. 6. The whole exchange in the back with "Howie did it.", etc--like the Airplane witness stand exchange with "Over Macho Grande?" 7. To tall guy Al whose head is never shown, eating a banana: "You have something on the side of your mouth..." "Oh, thanks..." He moves his arm to get it off, and about half of the banana falls off to the floor. 8. Drebin trying to buff a newly made key on the machine, and it flies off the machine upward. You then see the ceiling and about 200 keys are stuck in the ceiling.

Stoogemania (1985)

Some funny moments
26 March 2008
Especially liked the fact that Stooge Row was at the corner of Shaddup and Nyook Nyook Street. I think I saw the movie in the late 80s when it had already been out for a few years. I was never a big fan of the show when I was little but I wasn't one of those kids whose mom refused to let him watch it because they were afraid he would poke someone'eyes out or take a saw over the top of someone's head. It has a cult following much like This is Spinal Tap does, so if you like it, you will REALLY like it. May be hard to find. I watched it on a VHS tape, it may or may not be available on DVD. I guess I'd try to get it from Netflix first.
