Normally any rating that is 8 or above is a VERY good indicator that I will like the show. But for this Defending Jacob, not so much. I quit watching at episode 3, because I didn't want to waste any more time on a 10 ep series. After I realised that there are only 8 episodes, I thought I could suffer thru it in case the show improved. It does not improve. I have come to a theory. If the whole show was like the last three minutes of all of the episodes and most of episode 8, then it would have been a much better show

From the beginning til the very end, every Pacino, Pesci, and DeNiro scene and dialogue is Oscar worthy. Only thing that bothered me is that the cast is missing Jack Nicholson.

I admit it. Without a Hannah story line, I thought it would be difficult to make a decent season. And I further admit that during the first three episodes of season 3, I was feeling like an idiot who is 43 years old and watching this show. I was blown away by season 1. It was a great story! Season 2 did NOT live up to my expectations. But when season 3 started and I was three episodes in, I considered turning it off and watching a more adult show like Mindhunters or Dexter. I'm glad I continued watching season 3. In my opinion, the third season is the best of the three seasons. This third season is very well developed, very well told, and it tackles A LOT of issues that I assume plague this generation of young folks in high school.

However, entering the 3rd episode of The Society, I couldn't go any further. I kept waiting for the show to take off, instead it took me to a game called "Fugitive", a communal mess hall with hairnets, and a prom. Even fast forwarding 10 secs here and there, to get passed the stagnant dialogue, didn't help me make it to the 4th episode. It seemed that I was fast forwarding thru the entire episodes. Out of the 100s of shows that I have watched on Netflix and Amazon, this is the first series that I couldn't finish. Even if I was in prison, and I could only watch The Society, I would turn it off and try to make a shiv to end my suffering.

In fairness, I didn't rate the series, because I never finished it. At the same time, for what I did watch, I'd rate it a 3

This film is quite possibly the worst movie that I've ever seen. Immediately, you can tell that the "acting" is very very very bad. I've seen better acting in elementary school plays. Then there's the special effects which truly are, in all sense of the word, special. Slow motion when someone is about to get jacked in the face from a fist. Slow motion, crashing thru a window. I actually feel dumber now, after finishing the movie. This movie drained my soul.
