Top Gun: Maverick (2022)
The Most exciting film of the year
I went into the cinema as a Top gun fan, excited, finally 2 years of wait was over. The 2 hours in the cinema was an emotional journey, joy, tears, excitement. I almost jumped out off my seat. I wanted to jump up in the air and cheer for it. The excitement continues to top up until the last minute of the film. It has definitely exceeded my expectation, Tom Cruise has done it again!
Jigeum uri hakgyoneun (2022)
Zombie with Squid game goodness
At first I thought it's.just another zombie tv series, after I watched a couple episodes, I found it's more than just blood, fight scenes. It goes deep into humanity, friendship and family, the good hearted contracts with evils. And the emotional journey it takes you through is just astonishing, especially when a father tries to save his daughter and sacrifices his own life, a mother rushes into the danger zone just to see if her son is ok, a son sees his own mother turned into a zombie and tries to bite him and fights with his classmates not to hit his mother, the humanity and the emotional journey resonated with me and I'm sure it would resonate with any one who has a family.
Mortal Kombat (2021)
Inter galactic combat?
I would be so disappointed about our universe if combat among different worlds which ranges from hundreds to millions of years of development still fight like the people from a 5000 year civilisation?
Swan Song (2021)
An Apple designed movie
The cinematography is beautiful, perfect lighting, perfect graphical design for every frame.
Now to the content, the emotion that the whole situation creates is just too much for a human to handle. In a perfect world, when a person transfers their consciousness to a genetic identical physical being, they should continue to be them within the new physical being, and the consciousness in the old physical being should be switched off, it should not create a new consciousness from the whole process. The fundamental theory should come back to the question what defines "you", it's not only your physical appearance, but also your consciousness, your DNA, your.personality, your memory, your experience and many other attributes that define "you", and DNA already decides many of these attributes. Now if you clone a body to be exactly like yours which is programmed by the exactly same DNA, and then implant all your memory and basically your whole life into the cloned body, and this new person is not another person, it is YOU, as long as your consciousness is transferred at the right moment. At some time in the future, we will achieve doing so, that will mean that we will achieve so called immortality. Doing so will also create less moral conflict, less emotional conflict for a person or a society to go through.
