El Ott (2014)
Exceptional work
Very interesting movie. The director did a really good job into making this a unique work of his. I felt that every location was tuned to the smallest bit. This made every location interesting to glance at.
Also, the topic is a tough one. All of the main actors seem to understand that. Which is portrayed well into their acting.
Recommend the movie to those who are used to this type of thriller-movies. Most of the script relies on acting and camera-work. Short dialogues increases the need to stay focused on the details and the unspoken-dialogue.
Overall, I would not say this is a light movie. Quite the opposite, it leaves a mark.

Poor-Mid Movie
The movie did not add anything new to the genre, and it could have been done way better.
General (-) Review:
The acting was done well, unfortunately, horror movies do not rely only on acting alone. For example, the Movie's writing was not executed well and had so many flaws. From start to finish, its a very fragile storyline, and many things do not add up well. Moreover, the writing is of nothing new.
Secondly. The incorporation of drama into the movie is not well executed, and the characters could have been more sophisticated but this is not the case.
Lastly, Bad CGI is not necessary, you should not focus
the camera on badly executed CG.
Overall, maybe a horror-fan can take a bite at this, but generally, it is below the average.
Ghamam's Island (2022)
Special Touch
To have a quick synopsis first, this series shows us the difference between good and evil in a very creative way; that put into the first extreme, the protagonist -Arafat- who is doing everything out of love and with not a single feel of guilt. That is opposed with our Antagonist, Khaldoun, who brings his own people into the island to rule from underground. Khaldoun is considred to be the devil or the other extreme, and he does something very similar to the Joker -he makes you feel for him.
This series has hit many marks in the way to become a very good Arabic-themed & made TV series.
The amount of complexity in each main character is very high, but it's mostly zoomed in on four of the main characters. The characters with the most amount of complexity and screen time being; Ahmed Amin (Arafat), and Khaldoun. Both of them doing an incredible job for their characters to come out the way they did.
The music is also well-made, and so is the whole decoration of the buildings and the props.
The script is also superb.
El Soffara (2023)
General Review
My opinions aside, let me try to paint you what is close to an introduction.
Starting in an ok position, our protagonist finds an antique that will take him to the past. Specifically, to the moment in his past that shaped everything after.
The writer uses this idea to give you a variety of characters, scenes, settings and plots. All supported by the idea that one little change in the past shifts everything that comes after it... butterfly effect.
All in all, it is a well-made A-Egyptian series.
Additional, Comedy hint:
It uses a lot of wording-based laughs, so it will constantly challenge your knowledge of the language.
The Perfect Pairing (2022)
Ctrl C
It is missing a lot of elements to make the plot intact, the writing isn't top notch, but it definitely works.
Not a bad movie, I would recommend it to anyone who feels down and is looking for a romantic movie to watch.
Tom and Jerry: Cowboy Up! (2021)
In-between
An overall review, it is a bit enjoyable to watch the fellas in a movie, but let's say it is missing a lot.
The animation is nearly identical to the old one, which I do not hate, it brings a nostalgic feeling, but they surely could have upped the frames a bit, I noticed a somewhat laggy transitions, which could be easily fixed with today's tech.
I can't help but notice that both of their new movies lack a good storyline, which makes me feel that they succeed more in short animations, maybe because it is aimed more at children, though I still think they need better writing for their movies.
An overall review, it is a bit enjoyable to watch the fellas in a movie, but let's say it is missing a lot.
Tom and Jerry (2021)
Watchable, but...
Two main takeaways for me -that I disliked;
1- Animation is far better by itself, having characters play in real life might be a little fun for some shots & scenes, but that is it, Right now animation is not going really cool at all when done in a real life background for the whole animated movie.
2- The story was focused on the wrong characters. Should have been Tom & Jerry, right? It was not.
Luca (2021)
Good
This is not a bad movie, it is an alright one that is probably worth watching, but it is not a special movie for me,
I honestly think this could've gone in a really special and new/fun direction, but it just kind of didn't cross the line.
Colors of Love (2021)
Meeh
This is very stereotypical, with no real twist or depth in the story, just like it was done by a 10 years old,
It is not bad tho, it just lacks a lot of aspects to it,
could still watch it, but never as a special movie.
The Blue Elephant 2 (2019)
Bootyful
Cgi and a plot at its best , i really admire this novel writer , his imagination went into a book and then into this masterpiece , it's just amazing .
Khayal Maata (2019)
good
It's really fun to watch this movie .
there is a lot of things that make this movie enjoyable , soundtrack , the representation of how life was in 1960 , the direction did great job on running those aspects .
but , it still is missing a lot to be called a great movie , if you're watching it just for fun , or because you have a big meal that you want to finish while watching something , this is probably a good movie for that , but if you want a movie to completely make you forget who you are , a movie that travels with you to a whole new world , a whole new dimension , this is not it.
The Blue Elephant (2014)
Magnificent
This isn't a normal movie , it did hurt my mind a lot .
I'm literally lost in the beauty of every scene , i'm not sure if it was the director , cgi , actors or the composer .
im writing this with a shock all over my face , mind and spirit .
I've never watched a movie with so much ....
i'm out of words , watch it for yourself .
El-Khaliyyah (2017)
A good one
Nicely directed ,the whole movie is interesting .
the main actor ahmed ezz gave it his all ,as excepted .
the director dealt well with nearly everything , the lighting , camera's positions , vfxs were also great , and the side events were really interesting and they added to the movie in its all .
Secrets of the Furious Five (2008)
good
This short film added to the story as a whole , however , the animation was quite raw , it's good for a short film , but still , it's a big studio .. I expected more .
Al Hafla (2013)
I luf it
This movie is bootyful , the director knew how to add that little mystery touch in it .
classy editing/directing skills , with a classy soundtrack made it travel to a whole new level .
not forgetting the humor that the police man had given , it was so funny ,yet it added to his character , and sharpened the atmosphere of the movie when he was around .
this is by far one of the most enjoyable mystery movies that I've seen.
Blood Diamond (2006)
DiCaptain of real stories based movies
Another Master Piece Done By Leo .
Didn't feel bored although it's a 2:20H movie , Leo nailed his role along with Djimon who said alot without saying a word .
This movie has done to this case maybe more than any other thing has ever done .
i'm glad i finally watched it .
The Purge: Election Year (2016)
Same Title Different Actors
Its a good movie but the idea is over used , i just think that when u r getting anywhere near an idea like this u should give it more time to shape the whole thing correctly .
The Perfect Date (2019)
Netflix & Chill
Its really good , like you'd have fun watching it , but there was something missing , felt like they removed something of the script , but it still was fun to watch .
He Never Died (2015)
Multiple Zeroes Ahead
The only reason it got a one , is that a ZERO WASNT AN OPTION :)
Five Feet Apart (2019)
Speechless
The movie ended , and i couldnt move or even look in any direction ...
The Professor (2018)
I still have something to say ..
It was quite touching , johnny depp is always different.
The Professor and the Madman (2019)
MadMan
Mel Gibson & Sean Penn smashed the hell out of their roles , P.B Sherman Nailed it as well .
it is quite good .
Inception (2010)
Watch IT.
This is a masterpiece ...
Starting with the music production led by Hans Zimmer To the astonishing way That Christopher Nolan used to show his idea , and how good all the actors played their rolls ...its just beautiful .
