Star Trek: Discovery: The Red Angel (2019)
The red angel was just another HORRIBLE deus ex machina
In the end the whole theme of the red angel was just another HORRIBLE deus ex machina to justify extending the season four more episodes, when perfectly it could have been finished less than two episodes ago. Burnham is still the most unbearable character, crying and generating everything that is impossible for something important to happen if she is not in the middle. Tilly, another painful character, has competence. By God, what a bad and boring series!
Star Trek: Discovery: Brother (2019)
Bad very bad
I keep asking, is this really Star Trek? Because as much as I'm looking for something that reminds me of the other series, it still seems like something else, a bad copy of Star Wars or something worse. Bad very bad.
Star Trek: Short Treks: Calypso (2018)
It bored me. More of same.
Although it improves a little compared to the previous mini episode, the truth that leaves many doubts. I expected a more exciting development and an amazing resolution, but instead we have a mannered version of 2001 HAL 9000: Space Odyssey trying to make friends with the human protagonist on duty. Nothing is satisfactory, nothing is one hundred percent credible and everything seems accelerated to reach the end as quickly as possible. It bored me. Unfortunately Discovery is a product that does not seem to know where to go or what path to take to improve and it is still the WORST series of the entire franchise.
Star Trek: Short Treks (2018)
Just as bad as regular episodes.
I thought it was very, very weak. It still does not feel or look like Star Trek. I wish they would do something like Voyager or DS9 again. Discovery really sucks.
Star Trek: Discovery (2017)
The WORST star trek series ever made.
The worst series of star trek that has been made. Klingons that look like cockroaches, horrible ships, predictable history and total disrespect to the canon of the original saga.
It does not make sense that they have changed everything so much that it looks more like Galactica or Star Wars than what Star Trek has always been. The truth, I detest it.
The Orville (2017)
A great series, intelligent space humor
The Orville is the perfect communion between the best science fiction and the best humor. It works excellently well as a tribute to Star Trek, series of which is fan MacFarlane, but always in a very respectful tone. Each episode so far has made the series evolve positively and attractively. There is no doubt that today is much better sci fi series than the dark and languid incarnation of CBS's Star Trek, Discovery,
