Invasion of the Not Quite Dead (2022)
Indie movie fun
Cool little indie movie. Backed the indiegogo fundraiser a few years ago and jumped at the chance to watch the backers only screener a few nights ago. I had an empty house a few nights ago and sat down to watch by myself with the lights off and volume turned up loud. It's a slow burn character driven movie which is right up my alley. Wasn't quite sure what to expect after backing it a few years ago and it did not disappoint
Thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish It's a slow burn movie which is a style I have always loved
. Good acting, well written, great cinematography and good gore effects and score and a spectacular ending
It was all I had hoped for and more and anxiously await for my blu ray to arrive to sit down and give it another watch.
Masking Threshold (2021)
See this film now!!!!
Caught Masking Threshold front row center balcony at Nightmares Film Festival a few days ago. A stunning film and easily my favorite of the entire fest. It was a wild ride on the big screen. Captivating from start to finish. Super anxious for another watch Highly recommended.
Victim of Love (2019)
Great film
Caught victim of love during the nightmares masquerade film fest in oct and thought it was great. Beautifuly shot and very well acted. Looking forward to a physical release and a second watch.
Clickbait (2019)
My short thoughts on Clickbait
I was able to catch the screening of Clickbait at the Buffalo Dreams Film Fest last year and it was one of my favorite film fest screenings of 2018. Fun from start to finish, very sharply written, well acted and shot, and a ton of laugh out loud moments, really anxious for a second viewing and hoping for a dvd/blu ray release later this year. I can never hear the word strudel again without thinking about Toot strudels and smiling.
The Head Hunter (2018)
Film Festival favorite in 2018
I had the pleasure of being at the 2018 Nightmares Film Festival and was at the premiere of The Headhunter.I was able to also catch 12-13 other features over the course of the festival and The Headhunter was by far my favorite.
Christipher Rygh stars in the main role of The Headhunter himself and does an incredible job The film itself is firing on all cylinders,And has it all incredible acting, beautifully shot, well written and it's also the most original horror film I've seen in a very long time
This film is very far from a mainstream so called horror film that will find itself playing at your local multiplex theater, however I cannot give this film enough praise. Do yourself a favor and search out The Headhunter, sit down with some friends and soak in the most original horror film in years that is The Headhunter and you can thank me when the final credits roll
Camp Death III in 2D! (2018)
You need to see this crazy flick right now
I had the extreme pleasure of catching this a few weeks ago on the balcony at Nightmares Film Fest and it is an absolute beast of a movie. Great characters,an absurd but absolutely perfect plot and some of the sharpest writing I've witnessed in a long long time. Anxious to rewatch again so I can catch some of the dialogue I missed from laughing so much the first time. Laugh out loud from start to finish Search this one out and you will be glad you did. You may have seen many of the multiplex movies over the past few years that may be compared to this but Camp death 3 in 2 d blows them away. It's the type of movie you would catch at a festival and afterwards you will think holy cow I am really glad I caught that screening. The most entertaining laugh out loud seriously demented flick I've seen all year. Now the world needs a Camp Death 4 in 2 d sequel. Just shows you the power of good indie film folk creating something with much love and not driven by how much can my movie make and will it be a steppping stone for other features. Sit down with some friends turn the lights off crack a few beers and soak in this movie. You will be glad you did.
