The Walking Dead: What It Always Is (2019)
Well how about that..
Excellent episode.
I don't know if it's the awesomeness of JDM or something else, but this episode was really good, undoubtedly best of the whole season.
I hope they keep this up. Also, for the first time in a LONG time, pretty excited for next week.
The Walking Dead: Silence the Whisperers (2019)
Okay, I guess
Something happened...not a whole lot, but at least not another episode that you could entirely skip and not miss anything.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan is the only cool thing about this show.
He looks and acts awesome and pretty sure he is the only thing that motivates me to watch this show.
The Walking Dead: We Are the End of the World (2019)
Pointless
Another episode, where absolutely nothing happens.
We get to see how the Whisperers' squad was started and how the head honchos met. Who even cares?
What is even the point in walking the fields, roaring and pretending to be zombies? Because that's what the Whisperers were doing this episode: just strolling around, wearing dumb masks, doing what exactly? What is their endgame? Just spend their lives sleeping on the forest floor pretending to be dead?
For me, a completely pointless episode, offering nothing, blipped through it in about 15 minutes.
Game of Thrones: The Last of the Starks (2019)
Just horrible
Absolute worst episode ever and it sucks even by other show standards.
Who wrote this mess?
D&D aren't half as clever as they think, when they don't have GRRM's books to copy-paste from anymore.
What a shame. They took so much time with S8 and they didn't make it good.
Game of Thrones: The Long Night (2019)
The Letdown
This episode had excellent soundtrack.
And that was about the only thing that was excellent.
First of all, the lighting was terrible. Couldn´t see anything.
Second, the overall writing was pretty dreadful too. From the ridiculous battle plan to the cliche last minute hollywood death.
This episode was such a letdown.
Mormonts and Dolorus Edd dying just wasn´t enough of an impact. Everyone else was covered in plot armor and made out of impossible scenarios.
Also, the super sneaky assassin Arya YELLING when she pounced on the NK was perhaps THE DUMBEST scene in TV history.
Dumb&Dumber aren´t as clever as they think they are, once they don´t have the books to copy-paste from anymore.
The Walking Dead: Time for After (2017)
Goodbye
After 7 years, 114 episodes and countless disappointments, I am glad to say, I won't be wasting a single minute on this awful show. I AM DONE! The writers have steered this show into the ground, this is the last s straw, as they clearly don't care anymore, so why should I?
There are no words to describe how dumb and pointless this show is. Absolute pile of steaming dog poop. Bye everybody.
The Walking Dead: The King, the Widow and Rick (2017)
A bland episode of nothingness
This one was bland, yet again. Nothing substantial happened, every main character has been invincible for the whole season. What a total coincidence that only Ezekiel, Carol and Jerry made it out of the ambush./s The writers don't have the cojones to kill off anyone noteworthy anymore and it translates onto the screen. Again, where was Negan? What is he up to? The saviors and literally dumb as wood. Why are they so useless suddenly? Also everyone was talking about how they need to win. WE GET IT! You really need to win and losing your gay lover was tough. It gets old.
You seriously wouldn't miss anything if you watch only the season opener, mid-season finale and the season finale. The writers don't really care about any other episodes.
This show went from a magnificent show, to an enjoyable, to a watchable, to a meaningless show.
The Walking Dead: Monsters (2017)
The mediocrity continues..
Mindless shooting, pointless and lazy dialogue, needless sacrifices and weak action are the theme of this episode.
The saviors are completely unorganized and useless, getting mowed down everywhere. Everyone keeps reminding us "they have the numbers" but it sure doesn't seem that way. They forgot how to even aim a gun as they have not killed anyone noteworthy in the "good guys'" ranks. And where is negan? Where are Simon and Dwight and Eugene etc? Why haven't they been featured in the "all-out war"? Seems just like the writers forgot about them. I was expecting seeing Negan running around and shooting someone but no, I guess he is still in the trailer with Gabriel. The "all-out war" had potential to be great, action-packed and exciting and the viewers seeing fearing for their favorite characters with casualties on both sides. Weak start to the war, maybe it will get better.
This show is on a downward spiral. Many people I know have stopped watching it already and I am very close too. Maybe getting new writers would change something. But the show as it is now, is pretty sub-par.
The Walking Dead: The Damned (2017)
Weak...just weak...
This episode didn't make sense. Just like the one before it.. I thought the saviors had hundreds of guys. Now they are getting mowed down left and right and are easily overpowered. Also Negan is doing what and where? stuck in a trailer? where are his henchmen, where are the countless saviors?
I've been on the edge of giving up on this show for quite some time, now I'm closer than ever. This once great show has morphed into this weird lazily-written, badly acted, cliché-filled train wreck.
See you back next week though, as I will continue watching just for the fun of it.
