It was a good movie, but could have been better. There was one thing that irritated me when I finished the movie. I kept asking myself «why was the character Nicole in the movie»? She serves no purpose whatsoever. Denzel's character was exactly the same before and after they met eachoter. I just don't understand why she was there. Her scenes weren't even that good. The film was by far strongest before she met him and after she left him. This could have been better.

This movie made me really angry. Idk why, but I expected so much from it. It has so much potential, but they just wasted it. This movie could have been a 10/10. Ali was so good, but he doesn't get enough screentime and his character dies off screen for no reason and they don't even explain why. All of the actors who played Chiron were amazing, and that includes everybody else to.
This movie has great acting, and the cinamatography is great. Something just happened with the screenplay and directing could have been better. There are some scenes that easily could have been better.
When it comes to the story, there is something that is wrong. Nothing really happns at the end of the movie.
At the end of the day. This is an average movie that could have been so more. It pains me that a movie with so many great performances and a story that touches an important topic in the world is just "meh". Instead off digging deep into it it just scratches the surface.

You will either love it or hate. 2/3 of the movie is very slowpaced and you get what to seeHollywood was like in 1969 through the eyes of Rick Dalton(DiCaprio) Cliff Booth(Brad Pitt) and Sharon Tate(Margot Robbie). You meet real characters like Bruce Lee(Mike Mo) and Steve McQueen(Damian Lewis). There are som fictional Characters like Marvin Shwarz(Al Pacino) and Randy(Kurt Russell).
The 2/3 of the movie also has a lot of great acting. Leo and Brad Pitt had great chemistry and were both very funny. There are a lot of qiuck jokes and funny scenes by Leo and especially Brad Pitt. One of the best and funniest scenes in the movie was the scene were Rick Dalton goes into his wagon after forgeting his lines. Leo nailed it. What you will miss is all of the violence and blood that are in other Tarantino movies and not much actually happens
The reason you have to watch it twice is the third part of thw movie. If you now anything about the Manson murders, then you will feel a lot of tension when the people who were sent to kill Sharon and her friends arrived at their neighboorhood. You will think "How is Quentin going to show this", but since Quentin is Quentin he changed everythig. He made the Mansons meet Rick in his driveway, so they would change their minds and want to kill him instead. When they break into the house and meet Cliff, all of that violence and gore Tarantino is famous for kicks in and one of the best endings happens, where Sharon doesn't die . After that bizzare end that has vibes from Inglorious Basterds, the title of the movie gets shown on the screen, because this is a movie. It's Quentins fantasy and he can do whatever he wants with it.

What can I say? It happened again. The Acadamy totally scammed Leo. I think that this is Leos best performance ever. He deserved that oscar. Not to take anything away from Matthew, but Leo was just too good in this movie.

The first 40 minutes were excellent and exiting to watch, but after that it started getting boring. You kinda just wanted it to end after 40 minutes. Al pacino was really good, but the story and the other characters weren't that good.
