I'm not so sure if this is so much a review than it is a self-reflection. I grew up a Tom Brady fan since his Wolverine days. To see him on a center-stage for a roast is almost poetic in a hilarious way because of the amount of hate he took throughout his career. What made me not just love Tom for what he did on an athletic scale was how he appeared to be a somewhat stand-up dude off the field. Despite his issues with his ex-wife, he always seemed to be close to his kids and parents.

I watched about an hour and a half and shut it off. It was the same recycled jokes and most of the so-called comedians and celebrities weren't even funny, just foul. I was willing to look past all of the not-so-good moments for the great ones (namely old teammates, friends, coaches, and a few comedians) who delivered some hilarious content.

Where I drew the line was the constant jokes towards his kids and family, but got angry about a Kraft joke and his massages? Like, dude, seriously? You're defending an old guy who paid for services but can't take a little heat himself? But you let people take jabs at you, your family, your innocent kids, and their mother... Just so weird, dude.

The whole vibe was strange during the show. Kim K and Bert... really? I'm grateful for what Tom accomplished for the Patriots and as a whole for football in general, but this was just kind of gross and creepy. Kevin Hart wasn't funny and neither were the jokes towards him. Literally every joke was about his height. We get it. He's short AF. The whole event screamed weird Hollywood bimbos have too much money and time on their hands. It was a circus.

I would've been happier if it was hosted by someone like Bill Burr and it consisted of people who actually knew football and Tom. Bledsoe was hilarious. It would've been much more enjoyable for me if it were mostly ex-players and coaches like the Mannings and Bill who took jabs at Tom.

Maybe Florida is the new Hollywood.

What an awkward show, especially season 2. The cinematography is great but everything else falls short. Won't watch a season 3 if it comes out.

I felt like I was watching a kids movie the entire time. The humor was just dumb and the acting even dumber. I'm actually a fan of Paul Rudd's, but his lack of acting skill in this flick just brought the entire mood down. If they ever make another one, I'll skip it.

Up until Wonder Woman, I'd lost all hope for any good DC movies. Then, their Justice League movie sucked, too, which just made me go back to hating anything in the DC Universe again. While my wife and her friends were shopping, a friend and I decided to catch a movie last minute. We decided on Aquaman because it fitted with our schedule. I sat in my chair expecting another failed attempt at a good superhero movie, wishing that this was any Marvel movie other than Ant Man. Was I ever wrong. This movie had it all; great storytelling and the CGI was breathtaking. Acting was very good all around. The movie had so much depth and didn't rely on awkward teenage humor to carry it through heavily emotional scenes.

James Wan did an amazing job at directing this movie and I really hope that he gets his hands in more DC flicks.

If DCEU can keep up this momentum, I really think that they can find their own in the new era of superhero movies.

I have no idea how anyone who enjoys superhero movies could give this less than a 7. Also, as per usual, ignore Rotten Tomatoes and their biast reviews.

Do yourself a favor and see this in theatres. The effects are made for the big screen and will leave you absolutely submerged in the underwater Universe. Well done, DCEU!

I tried so hard to love this. The story and filming just fall so short of my expectations. I was hoping for a Deadpool/Logan approach that usually incorporates humor and dark storylines intertwined. This movie felt very targeted towards non-fans of the original anti-hero and seems to have been severely edited with loads of removed scenes. Once Tom basically bashed the movie in an interview, I knew this was going to disappoint. Hardy delivers a good performance but you can feel a true void between the acting, writing and the actual direction of the film. However, the movie did have some cool spots in it but ultimately just fell flat for the most part. This could've been Sony's redemption on superhero movies, but they've once again proven why their vision is lagging behind by 15 years.

**No spoilers but hints towards series' direction and production value**

Season 1 seems to be a little lackluster; whether it's due to finding its true identity, developing the characters or simply due to budget, it didn't pull me in from the start. In season 2, you start to notice the acting noticeably notch its way up in ranks, but still, with noticeable struggle in both the main characters roles and some of the cinematic quality. By no means is this show a 10/10 during its first two seasons, but more like a 7/10.

In season 3, upon partnership and acquisition with Netflix, the show REALLY takes off. It's almost night and day in terms of cinematic value and overall acting performance, namely from lead role character, Alexander Dreymon (Uhtred). The show begins to have the perfect blend of main and secondary character development blend in so eloquently, just as other major TV series hits seem to do. David Dawson, however, steals the show for the first few seasons, and paves the way for other actors to meet him on the track. His representation and acting's unmatched for the early part in the series, and continues to impress throughout. In season 3, he gives one of the best king-like acting performances that I've personally ever seen. His portrayal of being a king immersed in religious culture, yet battling with everyday moral dilemmas, is really something to behold.

Swedish director, Erik Leijonborg, takes control of the director role of the series in season 3, and I've never seen a show take such a huge leap in production value in my life. Erik definitely commands the cinematic appeal that's similar to, but not copycatting, the likes of Vikings.

My advice to you's to take your time during the first two seasons because you will binge season 3.

The Last Kingdom is a show that could, in my opinion, easily last well into 6-7 seasons now that it's found its identity with the Netflix acquisition. I look forward to seeing more from Lord Uhtred!

This series won't wow you but it's got some amazing parts in it. John does a good job representing Jack. I've actually never binged an Amazon series, but slammed 4 episodes in the same day so far. Definitely worth a watch and exceeded my expectations. It's got a little Mission Impossible vibe to it that I feel falls short and may have people kind of disappointed. I wish that they'd really stuck to the original Jack Ryan vibes, but hey, it's television and this is good.
