The whole premise of this movie is that there is going to be a song that is going to unite everyone. If there would have been a good ending song, this movie would have been considered reasonable, inspite of all the stupid acting that happened before that. Ending was really disappointing and there was no song and just some crappy music. Utterly disappointing to say the least... as I was hoping for a good song at the end for all the hype in the movie about a song...

I was quite surprised watching this movie. It was absolutely brilliant!!!! worth every watch at this time of global lockdown and isolation. I would highly recommend to everyone. Watch it with a glass of alcohol and do not think much...

Clark Gable was the real star of this movie. Norman shearer was just a play girl and bad girl in this movie and I wonder how Clark Gable became a bad person in the end. He just only wanted to marry her , doesn't seem like it's a crime. The last 20 minutes of this movie doesn't seem to make any sense. For me, the movie ended with Clark Gable's death. He actually kept the movie going... I only watched till the end because of Lionel Barrymore... But I don't think he really deserved an oscar here, he actually acted better in other movies like Grand Central and Arsene lupin.
