Murder Mubarak (2024)

This is neither a proper Thriller nor a comedy film. Just like there are some perfumes which are so loud and headache inducing, this is the same garbage. It totally missed all the brackets it wants to be in. The film is more of a pretentious wanna be "who is the killer" puzzle film.

This has unnecessary sexual scenes, one which involves a minor girl looking at it. The director has to be nuts to literally make this scrap. The comedy was extremely lame, off putting, and forcibly slid in between serious situations. The direction was poor, screenplay was gimmicky which was too annoying. They had to pause the screen on almost every character for introductions, which was hell of annoying and gimmicky again. Music and background score was like a below average Hollywood comedy movie. The film never gave any sense throughout. Garbage is the only word comes to my mind.!

Tiger 3 (2023)

Salman khan did the same monotonous low pitch voice in all his recent movies. Which is unbearable, annoying. No voice modulations, emotions and variations.. He probably tries to imitate Bobby deol silent action hero type acting. Like Soldier, Bichhoo, Gupt.. But Bobby Deol's low pitch voice is not annoying at all, it is soothing, while Salman's voice seems like he has flu and sore throat since a month.

The acting of all the actors was decent. Story was forgettable, screenplay was similar to the previous versions, nothing catchy. Overall a linear action drama. And another repetitive thing in the movie was the introduction Background music, especially Emraan Hashmi's BGM, it was given each and every time he came on screen!! Hella irritating, overdone! Unnecessary!

Its a boring film for me. No spoilers.

Poor Direction, Poor Screenplay, Poor story line. There was not a single scene or incident where i had a laugh. The comedy was forcefully slid in between the scenes. Everything since the beginning was like pretentiously trying to make scenes funny but ended up in making awkward. The whole movie itself is a failure, and it doesn't have any direction at all..!

To sum it up, it was neither entertaining, nor funny nor emotional, nor thriller, nor suspenseful.. The music was generic, scenes made no any sense, story had no head and no tail, which makes you think why is this, what is this, was this meant to be funny, or emotional, or tries to give some satirical message...

No any spoiler was given, everything is written by me on it's technical basis.

1920: Horrors of the Heart (2023)

The cinematography is bad, screenplay is bad, sound editing and recording is terrible! The audio is clipping and cracking everywhere! The CGI is worst. Overall a disaster.

This ruined the series 1920. This is worst than a school project, it looks like somebody just tried to make a film just because of having access to the film makers! The director has made a mess, this looks like a pretentious scenic video shoot converted as a horror film.

Only the two 1920 versions are better. Rest of them are bad, and this one is purely horrible in each and every aspect, the filming, the story, the sound, the screenplay and the direction.

Boring as Hell

I just want this series to be lost in void and nowhere to be found. The pace is lame, the background music is like it tries to put you to sleep, the cinematography is like an art film to show how to aesthetically capture faces in close up.

Everything in this was anti-suspense and uninteresting and it just drew me to review it, it was so bad! The concept was very good, but the direction execution, screenplay was sleep inducing and terrible. Since the beginning it was scattered and continued to Bore pretty well.

This series can do one job the best, and that is if you aren't feeling sleepy, it will make you sleep.

Jhund (2022)

Awesome is the Word!

Nagraj P Manjule, has yet again delivered a phenomenal splendid job with this movie 'Jhund'. This is the reality of the 80% of india's population. They are in majority but suppressed and intentionally ignored by the actual minor in population which is the rest upper class.

This is the factual drama brought on screen with the help of a real story. And it is not just a documentary style film, it has meaning in each and every scene! All the scenes in the movie are very impact full, rampant and those hit hard on you!

Especially the ending scenes like when the guy has some burden of crimes, and unlawful conscience, but he was baptized on screen when he finally comes out clean from the metal detecting machine door leaving the illegal stuff behind. That scene brings tears. Such an emotional, meaningful hard hitting scene. Similarly the wall of disparity and the real huge wall in the area which they cannot cross being minorities and from slum, but in the end, with their capabilities and talent they not just crossed the wall but they Flew over it! That scene again bring Goosebumps!

Kudos to the director for such a masterpiece. And this must not be a subject to resent especially from only the upper class, just because the minorities are being highlighted and Dr. Ambedkar and Ambedkarites have been displayed with enormity. And they rate it intentionally low. That is shallow heartedness.

This was matrix collapse. System hijacked. Mission failed! Thats it, No more Matrix for me. This is how you mess up a franchise. No any continuation no screenplay engagement, just too flat to be intriguing. Pretentious.

This is what is called as a perfect Movie. The story was good, the acting of all the characters was commendable. This is realistic but a dramatic tinted movie which was really a need of the moment when there are only the fabricated one sided masala films which only glorify the image of the cops, where as that is a rare case. This movie shows the reality. And the harsh truth. Well made.

This was a good opportunity, if the director wouldn't have taken tooo much of cinematic creativity and too many jumps from present to past to future, mixing and ruining the anticipation completely.

The ending or the climax was shown in the first one hour itself, and then there are the sequences shown where the director tried to show the backdrops in between, which was pointless! When you tell the reader of a book in the first 10 pages that this person is the killer in the end, then why would you read the book?

The technicality of the film, cinematography, coloring, music was good. Just the mixed up screenplay ruined the experience and bored!

This was more of the Hallucinations, more of jump scares, filled with dream sequences and less of actual things shown... The element of scare was nowhere found, just a fantasy fairy tale land, with some expedition to find someone bad with the hallucinating dreams to get telepathically connected.. Sometimes its so much of those illusions that you get confused whether to buy the scare or its just another fooling dream sequence... which makes you irritated whether to think it happened or it did not... And if didn't happen then why is everyone hallucinating like they are on mushrooms... Great opportunity was mishandled by a fantasy grade director..

Best Big-foot project ever

This is By far the Best ever Found footage or be it a best individual movie, it competes all of the big foot movies ever been made.. This is how its supposed to be! Unexpected, Foolish acts by some individuals, because everything in real life is imperfect, so this has to be shown in a manner that its being shot in real-time, and there are of course bad decisions been taken by the character, silly acts been done because reality is unpredictable, and that shows the rawness of this movie.. Just like a Vlogger does on YouTube.

The people rating this by saying that the characters acted foolish their act was dumb they got killed so we give less stars... Well they should get a mental checkup done.. You cannot rate a movie by saying that the character was dumb so i dislike, well thats a script! And some say that they shouldn't have gone to the cabin after they hit the big foot they died because of that foolish decision so i give less stars! Come'On...! Such absurd and naive minds out here.. This is intentionally made so that the movie could have been made, if they haven't have gone to the cabin, then how and why this film would've been made.......?

Apart from the disappointment of the mindless raters, this movie has the best Big foot make-up, the voice given to was realistic and frightening, the revengeful nature like a human, the way it runs, it attacks, the way it sees them was surreal and outstanding! Best entertainment hence no disappointment for me..

The Empty Man (2020)

Started well but.....

I was really engaged in the beginning, it started off pretty well, giving out the Prometheus type of vibes.. But... slowly slowly turned out to be weird, dislocated, out of the track. And the most annoying thing was the Jump scare tricks here and there... Which is the cheapest option to scare and shock the viewer instead of frightening psychologically..

That pissed me off big time, and the director missed and wasted a great opportunity by ruining the concept and making it a low grade tricky drama.

Let me try to tell what went wrong technically without revealing the story..

Firstly the anecdotes or the screenplay was pretty messed up and confusing, its like when you show the protagonist's entry when not expected and then moved on to the slow pace back drop story..

The music was fusion with folk songs, but ruined it with the over electronic experimental beats here and there which was totally unnecessary. The chorus and singer's voice was over used during the screenplay which made it quite monotonous and tamed the interest in the movie.. overall wrong choice of music directors.

Screenplay was dull and dark, which didn't quite engage as an audience at all. could have been way better, brighter, with engaging side actors and alive. The cast of childhood actors was wrong, where the girl looks bigger, aged and stronger than the boy, whereas she should've been an innocent looking little girl to make the story more convincing that he fell for an innocent girl..

There were artistic scenes here and there with slow motion which felt like an advertisement on television. The story was good, but the execution was bad, the direction, cinematography, screenplay, and music.. all were messed up and didn't accompany each other. Whereas the acting of the lead character in adulthood was good but proved of least use. Hence, a great opportunity was missed.

Khuda Haafiz (2020)

One of the Best...

This is by far one of the best Romantic Thriller movie in bollywood.. This realistic shade used for Vidyut Jamwal was a successful experiment, his performance was excellent, he did a fantastic job to portray the character of a normal middle class working man.

There is some resentment from the typical masala films audience which is just 10% and its baseless. They expected vidyut jamwal to do action stunts, beat villains, do martial arts etc which is a cliche expectation derived form masala bollywood choices.

This film was a hard hitter, full of emotions, and showed the impact of isolation from loved ones when the life partner is in a danger and in a extreme difficult situation and condition. Vidyut carried the realistic emotions, anger, helplessness, which the person in real life would do. So without revealing much, its a Very Very intense and i was extremely heart felt after watching the film. Which only people having loved ones will feel. Can't give any less than 10 for the emotions and the performances.

Scary but too short

The movie / short film was pretty good and scary.. But the only biggest disappointment was its short length.. and everything just came up too quick and rapid. This is really a downgrade for film industry to gradually reduce the film length day by day..

This length cutting in the name of liberal people's choices, and their busy schedule, and they demand less screen time is ruining the film making.. This has to come under short film category. If this less run time keeps going then that day is not far that the films will be 5 to 10 mins in length, because liberals have less time.....

This movie is made by a B-grade movies director, some way he got entry into Amazon prime videos and so on... The movie is Garbage in the name of Alien ufo movie! The director tried to create tension, anticipation and build up in the story, but he created constipation..

The movie is so dull that its a sloth. Too much of stretched scenes, stretched shots, single shots for a long time, he just filled up the gap with hours long of verbal waste! And that dull and calm music completely ruined the alien movie aspect! When the UFO is seen , the music is like, we wish you merry christmas type of lullaby.. Worst ufo movie ever, and worst period movie as well..

The movie was an over baked wannabe art film, and no such film can give you any kind of scare.... There was no any scary movement anywhere, yes there was subtle amount of suspense, but due to poor and over artistic direction, only fancy colors, set, color schemes, vivid red colorization, and a slowest drama was seen.

Too slow, and ultra predictable, neither a horror film nor an art film, it was just a hallucinating crime patrol episode with bengali ambiance. And highly feminist drama for no reason, made by a female director, and a female producer so no surprise why its so pro feminism. Huge misleading and a con film in the name of horror film. Only art film lovers would like this for the drama, set, theater play.
