Dead Silence (2007)

Did anyone else.....
24 March 2007
Alright... I feel that this is one of the 'original' flicks since Hollywood's gone to re-makes. It had a few original ideas as well as the tell tale 'jump' scenes. Everyone can tell, with enough movie viewings under your belt, when 'this' is gong to happen or when 'that' is about to happen. Every movie has at least one or two predictable scenes/ spots, but this one was done pretty well.

Te main thing I thought ROCKED was the scene in the Theater, the second time (don't worry.. I'm not giving anything away), if you look at the whole shot, you can see the Jigsaw Doll from the Saw flicks!!! I saw him at least three times and if you go looking for him, I KNOW you'll see him to....

I thought it was a great 'cameo' ha ha ha! I recommend seeing it, but if you are the type of person who RARELY sees movies in the theater due to costs, you can wait to rent this one.... it's good... but for your taste, I'm sure it's not THAT good.

I would like to thank.....

I would like to thank all of the bad reviews. They made the movie a way better experience. I didn't think it was going to be like Shrek to begin with so, that part didn't effect me. All in all, the movie was pretty decent, a 6.5 / 10..... there were parts I laughed, parts i liked and those little Dwarfs are creepy! haha....

I agree with those of you who liked the film, and I also agree with those of you who didn't. Hollywood lacks imagination these days with spoofs, re-makes and slight plot changes. But, that's the media's fault... so, for a movie that had to compete with all the stuff out there, it was good.

And Freida, by the way, looked like the Step-Mother from the original Cinderella, but with more attractive hair and a little more leg. Their 'busts' are the same size, just Frieda has a cleavage line.....Don't agree? What Cinderella again -smirk- Thanks for readin'!

The Crow (1994)
10/10
All time Favorite!

This movie, for those who have never seen it, which I am sure is a small number but what do I know, is an absolute Must See. It clings to every genre of film: comedy, Action, Thriller, Romance... it's the ultimate movie. I've favored this movie since the second time I saw it... I've watched it repeatedly so often that now it is a black and white film with a little red, red! The lines are beautiful, the characters well portrayed...

I also like The Crow: City of Angels though the ending was a bit... eccentric, and The Crow: Salvation didn't much live up to my standards. The Crow: Wicked Prayer would have been better if Furlong wasn't trying so hard to deliver his lines like Brandon Lee in the first film. (not I do not say original because it has yet to be remade and I doubt it ever will) All in all, if you like a wide variety of films, definitely see this one, you should not be disappointed!
