Something is very off and it might be me for giving this series two stars. So, why two not one? Essentially, because of hope & it was the show I selected to get through my cycling miles. Hope quickly became was the major carrier.

So far, I've watched four episodes. And, there's a particular phrase that's come with increasing frequency and volume, which is, 'F-cking Andy!' What? Why? Why another ridiculous character?

The premise was intriguing. Toni? Yes. She's been a solid 'yes' for a long time. Loved her for decades. And, I'm excited to see Gil. I wish there was more of him to see. But, scene after scene, there's Andy just steeped in stupid, wayyyy too much, wayyy too often. As a good friend of mine says, "The cheese has slid off the cracker" Yep. The cheese is on the floor.

Whether this particular movie is a vanity project or not there was a lot of soul & work put into it.

And, there is much to enjoy. The scenery (10 stars for that alone) is gloriously weaved into the movie. And, the potential for the story itself felt like it was resting just beyond reach & that's what kept me watching despite my eyes inadvertently rolling, over & over & over.

But, then at 0:55:28 when Roland asked Nessa, "We ok?" a laugh busted out of me. That was comedy gold.

Anyhow, every chuckle in this life is worth something. So, I give this movie not just one star but a great big one star!
