Ending is sufficient

why? because the movie is about the narrator's youth, part of his memory. some things were left without reconciliation much like how we live our life. One could only wonder what Han Ga-In's character would have said if the bus didn't stop for that was probably the last time he ever saw her in his life.

There are many things i love about this movie. It's not just the accurate portrayal of 70's highschool in Korea, but also the way Han Ga-In projects that nice image of first love. Every guys know how it feels to be crushed when the girl who you love is interested in one of your friends. And man, high school really bites when you're the shy guy who didn't get around being "cool"

one of the worst movies ever

Warning: Spoilers
i'm glad there are people who hated this film. This movie is indeed horrible. Jeon Ji hyun posing as an action star was an equivalent of say.. Lindsay Lohan starring in the next Die Hard. This movie did financially well because of star power, not the quality of the film.

regarding the abuse taken the guy takes from the girl, I must agree it's ridiculous. I enjoyed My Sassy Girl because it was realistic (to a degree), relatable, etc. but getting burned on the lips? that's absurd. It's not funny if you think about it.

The structure of the movie is awesomely bad. The story doesn't simply flow and we get a very little character development. The characters in this movie just explains their emotions through dumb clichéd dialogues instead of showing it, which shows why the events in the movie are extremely corny. This film insults the audiences' intelligence. I know this movie is no Romeo and Juliet, but it doesn't mean I can't criticize the film. For all of you who enjoyed this film, provide a convincing argument about why you think this movie is good other than the fact the jeon ji hyun is an eye candy (which I agree).

Don't take me wrong. I do enjoy B-rated flicks and films that explores, or uses supernaturals as a background. Good B-rated movies are thoughtful and doesn't depend on the inexplainable story direction to make the movie unpredictable and enjoyable.

Sorry for being different, but I take every movie seriously because I believe they deserve it.
