Capsule (2015)
Terrible
Terrible, just terrible. Guy sits in a capsule for hours and nothing happens. Talks to a few people on a radio. Vaguely interesting ending but remotely worth the squeeze of sitting through this movie. Worst part is the incredibly over the top British pride where they present this idea they got to space first and the Americans and Russians got jealous. Hahaha... only it's not funny, because the film is so terrible.
Jaws 2 (1978)
Jaws turns into teen slasher flick
The most shocking thing about the jaws sequel is that Chief Brody seems to know even less about boating than he did at the beginning of the first movie. You'd think he'd have learned anything about boating during the first film. Doesn't know how to dock a boat, leave a slip, use a radio, navigate at all, use a compass. But by comparison to the sniveling kids who just sob and scream Brody is a hero. You'd think they'd have had people on hand to educate the cast on these fairly simple concepts.
The real villains in this film are the kids and Brody. Brody and the kids are so inept that you can't help but feel bad for the shark. The kids nor Brody should survive due to sheer incompetence, but they do, and they defeat the shark in the process; giving a bad rep to sharks everywhere. Poor Jaws.. No wonder the sharks want so much vengeance in Jaws 3 and 4.
Taking Earth (2017)
Strong contender for worst movie I've ever seen
Really bad. SO bad I don't think I can describe in words. Avoid at all costs, save yourself.
Non-existent plot (and shown out of order at that).
Worse script.
Worst acting.
Seemed to have a decent budget at times, makes you wonder what they thought was going on as they shot and produced it.
Sahara (2005)
Modern take on Indiana Jones
Somewhat ridiculous plot and occasionally corny script. The movie drags from around 1/3rd to 1/2 of the way through but then picks up and becomes more interesting. Respectable family friendly action movie.
Airplane vs. Volcano (2014)
So bad it's incredibly entertaining
Talk about a film that doesn't talk itself too seriously. You'll literally cry tears of catharsis as all your stress and whatever has been getting you down is forgotten and your sins are forgiven.
So many good parts... when they have to fix the engine, the first rescue attempt, the entire situation on the ground.
Believe it or not you can actually watch this film more than once. I've watched it a few times and each time I notice clearly intentional gaffes for the viewers entertainment. Enjoy!
Kill Command (2016)
Really well done budget sci-fi film
Kill Command is a really well done budget sci-fi film. It's so well done you might forget it's a budget film. As others have noted the script could be better at parts, but overall the script is more than adequate and the rest of the film is so well done I didn't even notice the script until I read other reviews.
Really well done film. Kudos to the cast and crew.
