Another Hollywood copy, nothing else
18 December 2005
This time, Bollywood decided to copy "Heartbreakers", starring Sigourney Weaver and Jennifer Love Hewitt. Rekha plays the role of Sigourney Weaver and since she's a senior actress, plays it good. On the other hand, Mallika Sherawat is no Jennifer Love Hewitt. I don't know how long will Bollywood keep making their versions of Hollywood movies? Isn't there any law that can forbid them from stealing stories and scripts from Hollywood and taking all credit for it? Why do people accept them as original work? How long would we watch the copied movies? Not a surprise from Bollywood though, after all there name was also "inspired" by Hollywood.

Watch the original, stop plagiarism
18 December 2005
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is a scene to scene copy of Denzel Washington's "Man on Fire". They took the whole movie, added songs to it and a little twist in the end. Other than that, each scene is a ditto copy of the original movie. The irony is that Amitabh Bachchan, who plays Denzel's role in this movie, said in a promo that "Please watch this movie on big screen and stop piracy"! What a joke! The film itself is a violation of many copyright laws! On top of that, the script writer(script translator), claims that he wrote this script two years ago but Amitabh didn't like it, so he added a new twist in the end and then Amitabh agreed to do the movie. Watch the original movie "Man on Fire". One of the best performances by Denzel Washington and Dakota Fanning.

Don't waste your time on this movie
12 December 2005
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is a scene to scene copy of "Out of Time" starring Denzel Washington. They copied almost 95% of the movie, and even tried to copy some of the costumes, such as Denzel Washington's flowery shirts !!! Even the dialogues were exactly the same, just translated into Hindi from English... Not only was the movie copied, but the song "Woh Lamhey" was taken from a Pakistani singer, Atif Aslam, with no credit given to him at all... Seems like Indian movies can't do anything original anymore... The acting was awful !! Emran Hashmi has neither good looks nor good acting skills. Shamita Shetty is wasting her talent in such movies... I wouldn't recommend any of Mahesh Bhatt's movies because they're always a copy of some famous Hollywood movie, yet he still claims that they're not a copy and everything is "original." Overall the movie was a waste of time...
