HIT: The 2nd Case (2022)
The bigger they are, harder they fall.
Let me start by asking a question to the makers of this movie. A question more or less specifically directed to the director: What the hell happened? I mean the team was absolutely brilliant in HIT the first case, then what happened with this sequel? Was this supposed to be a cash grab job? Or, did someone force you to make this trashy sequel?
This movie is like to HIT the first case as The Hobbit was to The Lord Of the Rings. It would seem that the writer was hired with a promise of free meals rather than their conviction and commanding script.
I used to think that the Hindi remake of the first case was bad but wow was I proven wrong with this. So in one line dear reader: Just stay away from this and re-watch the first case again.
Bye.
Blurr (2022)
9 and 10 stars are a lie. Paid maybe.
Let me start by saying that this is a appalling copy of Julia's Eyes realeased in 2010. It's remakes like these that make me wonder why does Bollywood think that we Indian audiences have no international exposure to good movies. No wonder Bollywood is on its last legs as there no more creativity left anymore.
Before I conclude I'd like to leave a message to the producers: next try copying Sleep Tight (Mientras duermes) 2011, since it seems that this is all you can do producing bad imitations of good movies.
I still wonder who are the people that've given 9 or 10 stars? Do they even know that cinema and movies exist out of Bollywood.
Betaal (2020)
Getting root canal done is much better than watching this trash
Wow! That's nearly 3.5 hours of my life that I won't be getting back ever. I don't even know what to compare this travesty to. I mean crappy b grade movies have better production values than this show.
Remember Zee horror show in the 90s, it can give this series a run for its money in terms of the monster design and makeup. I still can't belive this comes from a production house of a person who has spent considerable amount of his life with Indian cinema.
Just let this one go and watch anything else.
