As an American, I had never heard about this story before. I found the story extremely intresting. I was flabbergasted at the level of corruption in Mexico. It seems as if Mexico has no rule of law. The writing was very good. The acting was top notch, especially Alberto Guerra. This show had me captivated the entire time, I was glued to my seat. After I finished this show I was sad because I knew there were no more episodes.

The premise of the story I find intresting but, the show is not well done at all. The main issue is the writing. The dialogue is very unrealistic and threes a lot of cheesy jokes. The dialogue has a very broadcast tv feel, if you've ever seen crappy broadcast tv shows like designated survivor,ncis, the brave, etc the shows don't feel real, the characters don't feel real, that how lost in space is but, not as bad as some of the other shows I mentioned. My second issue with the writing is the story, they layout the story in a very simple black and white way, theres no complexity or nuance. It's worth watching if you have nothing else better to watch.

Based off the synopsis I didn't think I was going to like this show. I thought this show was going to be more social justice activism. I ended up really liking this show. I think the show did a really good job of giving a nuanced perspective of very complex issues, they did not try to dumb down the messaging to good and evil like some other shows and movies do. The show did a really good job of presenting all sides and letting the viewer come to their own conclusions. The show does not perceive to tell you what is right and wrong and what to think, they leave that up to the viewer to decide for themselves. The acting in this so was superb, especially Regina King, Russell Hornsby, and Michael Mosley. The dialogue was good but some of the New York accents were a little over the top, nothing too bad though. The story was good. The more episodes I watched the better the show got.

I liked Wind River but, I think people are overrating it. The acting is really good, the writing is good. The weakness of this movie is the plot/story/pacing. Not much happens through out the whole movie. After I had finished this movie my first thought was "that's it?." I was left unsatisfied and I think this had to do with the pacing. This movie was 1 hour and 40 minutes and they could have condensed what happened in that 1 hour and 40 minutes probably down to 45 minutes. It's a good movie, it's just not a great movie. 7/10 stars.

This show was very well done and very interesting. The acting and writing were great. The premise of the story was not the most original or most intresting but, the writing and acting were both superb and really carried this show. 8/10

This show was very well done. The plot,writing,acting, and how the story was constructed were all superb. The show could almost be described as like a more sophisticated, deeper, darker stranger things but, still very different than stranger things. This is a very deep and intellectual show. Also the show only reveals bit by bit so there is a lot of intrigue and questions through out the show which I really liked. When I saw the trailer for this I thought it looked okay but, it wasn't a show I was dying to see. The show ended up being way better than the trailer. The show starts off slow but, as the show reveals bit by bit each episode your left with so many questions and intrigue, I was glued to my seat dying to see the next episode. This is one of the shows that is so good you may end up watching the entire season in one night. I wanted to watch the entire season in one night but, I liked the show so much I wanted to savor each episode and I ended up watching the season over a week or so. After I finished the season I was sad because there were no more episodes to watch and I knew I would have wait a long time for season 2 to come out. If you like the missing, stranger things, the killing, the tunnel you will probably like this show. 9/10

The acting is not great. The premise of the story I found interesting but, the show was just not done well. The writing was bad. As I was watching the show I just found it wasn't that interesting. 5/10

I think this show is decent. The writing, specifically the story and plot are definitely this show's weakness. The story is interesting enough for me to keep watching but, it's not keeping me glued to me my seat and waiting for the next episode. It's just ok, not bad, not great, just OK. 7/10

The first episode was pretty good. The show just got worse and worse each episode after the first. The writing, specifically the plot did not make a lot of sense and was not very interesting. There were a lot of plot holes. The writing for Jon Simm's character was especially terrible, the writing made his character look utterly ridiculous. There was a clear political tone to the show. It felt like they were trying to cast the working class character (John Simm) as crazy and unhinged. The whole show was essentially a smear job against working class brits as stupid and unintelligent. I'm not surprised though, the TV writers clearly have preconceived stereotypes and contempt for Britain's working class. 6/10

I think this show is slightly underrated. I found the plot and story to be very interesting, as in I really look forward to the next episode. I think the writing is solid, acting is solid. I also think the show has solid pacing. Two episodes in I would rate this show 7.5/10. I really don't understand a lot of British peoples tastes in TV shows. A lot of British tv shows that I found boring and uninteresting are given high ratings. Unforgotten and case histories average IMDB score is 8/10 even though I found these shows completely boring and uninteresting. Then you have this show which I found very interesting and you have people hating on it. A lot of british people seem to prefer the slow and light hearted crime dramas like wallander, unforgotten, happy valley which I find these shows completely boring and uninteresting. Then you have great shows that are gripping and dark like Mcmafia, collateral, the tunnel that get hated on, I just don't get it.

After watching all the seasons, I thought season 3 and season 4 were more interesting than the first two seasons. Season 1 and season 2 were more of a procedural drama, each case would last 2 episodes. For season 3 and 4 each season only featured one case, I much preferred this format. Also season 1 and 2 felt kind of too PG, I found the cases to be kind of bland or boring, not gritty at all. Season 1 and 2 reminded me of wallander UK, it had that kind of light hearted feel which I was not a fan of. Season 1 and 2 was watchable but, it wasn't gripping or keeping me interested the entire time. Season 3 and 4 is much better. The cases are more gritty and dark and overall much more interesting, more suspense and intrigue. Also the format of 1 case for each season made the show a lot better. Season 1 and 2 I would rate 6.75/10 and season 3 and 4 7.75/10.

The acting and writing are both excellent. Everything about the dialogue and plot feels authentic and realistic, this is not the type of movie where the good guys come in the nick of time. Cillian Murphy's acting was great. The movie does a good job of conveying the characters emotions and state of mind, you can really feel the emotion of the characters. Very well done. 8/10 stars

I really thought this show was overrated. The plot was decent but, it didn't keep you glued to the DVD. It felt like this show was trying to be authentic to the time but, it came off as very fake. My main issue is they had a female mayor who dressed in a male suit, this is totally unrealistic to the time and killed the entire vibe for me. One women could not vote in the 1800's it's very unlikely there were any female mayors anywhere in the US in the 1800's. Second you would never see a female wearing suits in the 1800's it's just not how things were back then. This show is another case of producers,writers, & directors using film as a means to push their own personal politics. Why do they insist on ruining period dramas by interjecting there own personal politics? Why can't they just keep everything authentic to the time, why do they need to change or tweak certain things to reflect the values of the writers,directors, and producers? Your job as a director,writer, producer is too make the best possible TV show or movie not to push your politics. Your profession is not a vehicle to push your personal politics and beliefs. You see the same thing with journalists, instead of informing their readers they instead try to advocate for their own personal politics. Unfortunately were seeing more and more of this, people using their chosen profession to advocate for their own personal politics.

I watched this show with English subs. The plot was really interesting. The acting was great. The show kept me very interested the entire time and I would binge watch an entire season in one night. Some of the dialogue at a few times felt slightly cliche, only slightly though and it did not happen enough to take away from the show. There were a few times where some of the characters would look at each other with this strange look, almost imposingly and a very intent and serious stare which i found to be strange. Some of this though could be Italians have a different culture so they speak differently and have different mannerisms than Americans. Overall a really good show and I would recommend it to anyone who likes shows like the sopranos, the wire, etc.
