Sweet Home (2020– )
2/10
This show changed my opinion on Netflix cancellations
25 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This show shouldve been cancelled. Season 2 is absolute slop of junk plots and dialogue.

Nothing any of the characters do makes ANY sense.

SO many plots that go ABSOLUTELY NO WHERE.

So many useless characters that contribute absolutely nothing.

Season 1 was great, it was a spooky monster flick about a giant apartment complex.

Season 2 is just a mess of non-sense. Nothing interesting happens. Nothing cool happens. For some reason the monsters now look like transformers.

I just really can't believe how BAD this show has gotten in just 1 season. I see a lot of the episodes at 6/10 stars, and I have no idea how that's possible. Almost all the episodes should be 3/10 stars.

Annoying/Stupid characters, poor animations
9 August 2022
All the animations are super stiff. There were literal scenes where I thought people were actually cardboard cutouts or mannequins.

The characters were unbelievably dumb and annoying.

Can't believe I sat through it all.

Resident Evil (2022)

formulaic pile of crap
15 July 2022
Another formulaic pile of crap produced by Netflix.

Horrible CGI and effects.

Absolute snooze fest of a plot.

Literally a show made to meet a quota.

You will find nothing interesting in this series, even if you're a fan of the Resident Evil franchise (at this point im not sure why you would be).

Netflix just can't seem to produce anything good anymore. All their shows feel exactly the same, it's kinda cringe.

Stopped watching after Burr's set
3 July 2022
His set was the weakest one I've ever seen him do.

Barely got a chuckle out of me, once maybe.

After his uncharacteristically weak performance i did not bother watching the rest of the comedians. I had a strong hunch that they would all bomb, too.

And judging by the comments, i was right. Saved myself an hour.

Pretty bad.

5 minute 'horror' scenarios with very predictable plot and super cliche 'monsters'

the best part of each episode was that it was only 5 minutes long.

Cursed (2020)
1/10
cheesy and benign

I havent seen something this forced since the last season of GOT.

Why not just make your own story if youre going to butcher the mythology so thoroughly?

The vast majority of the series left me cringing, i cant believe i sat through it all. Please let this pandemic end so i wont sit through a complete pile of garbage again.

Even the chemistry amongst the actors was awful, most of the time it felt like they were practicing lines rather than acting out their character.

High hopes left with sheer disappointment.

The Walking Dead: Here's Negan (2021)
Season 10, Episode 22
6/10
Seems a bit overrated
6 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I thought the story was kind of cool, but man was it poorly written.

The chain of 'back in time' sequences felt like an actual joke rather than a serious story.

The lead actor was excellent. It's just the writing and directing that made very little sense to me.

For example, why did Negan smirk at Maggie at the end? After giving a heart felt speech to his dead wife about being sorry for being an "a$$hole". Burning his bat to solidify the end of his evil ways.

Then, all of that just goes out the window in the last minute of the show.

It really feels like the writers have no idea what they want to do with the character, so they're just stringing on the audience.

This episode was definitely not the worst episode, but I certainly don't think it's 9.5 / 10.

Hush (I) (2016)

Just awful. Very frustrating to watch.

It's just plain dumb how they wrote these characters.

1000s of opportunities to escape.

100s of opportunities to kill the attacker.

None utilitzed. Cheap thrill tactics and tacky plot development.

You will find yourself screaming at the screen as to why the main character just doesn't simply leave the house when 100s of opportunities present itself.

It's just dumb how the story develops. The main character literally had like 5 opportunities to kill the killer halfway through the movie.

The interaction with the killer and the character is just so annoying and frustrating.

Just a drawn out drama that should have never been made.

I don't understand how this film has 6.6 stars, I expected it to be hovering just above a 4 or maybe a low 5.

I had to turn it off about 50 minutes in because it was just SO stupid.

Not scary. Not thrilling. Boring and frustrating with a teleport killer that can jump through plot holes.
