Scarborough (2019)

Slow burner but so was many mini series and they became smash hits
7 October 2019
I live in Scarborough, I was somewhat worried about how my town might be portrayed within this mini series., I didn't have anything to worry about, only I wish the series was longer and I think it would be better if it had been on for an hour. The drone scenes of Scarborough look beautiful. The dialogue is clever, funny and more than anything it cheers you up. I'm really disheartened it's only 6 episodes. I really hope more can be made. As now people have gotten to know all the characters. Full marks all round. Fingers crossed for a new series.

Best thing about this movie was the wolves,
15 July 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Thought this movie could have told so many stories about the wolves, and main character, instead was like a poor deliverance. You felt cold all they way through. Woman's saved in the beginning, could have been a romance, nope, could been more about her and the wolves like the title implies. Very boring, the wolves had better teeth than the men. Was off putting seeing so much plaque in one movie. Thank goodness for the fast forward button.

Actually very funny
15 March 2019
Warning: Spoilers
The only thing I find annoying is his wife, no wonder he gets himself into bad situations, she told everyone he had ran over the cat, if she had backed him up him up then would have been funnier, but she even said she would buy them a new one. If she wasn't there causing stress then I think would be funnier. No wonder he tell so many lies. After 3 episodes I'm starting to feel sorry for the poor man. Dispite my comments I do enjoy it, an looking forward to seeing more.

Well worth watching even if I was watching behind a pillow!
20 September 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Was frame by frame of true hell, half the time I was feeling sick, was almost of the time felt you were there, I thought of my uncle fighting in the war and this film helped me see just what he would have seen and been through, half the time I was behind a pillow the violence was so real. One more just one more. I was shouting no more, but he kelp going. Heavenly Father and Angels were truly with private Dobbs. Nobody respected him in the beginning because he had faith. He had enough faith for all of his fellow soliders wether they were from American or from Japan, in his eye they were fellow human beings. He was a true hero in every sense of the word. No gun, just bandages and morphine, that's all he carried. He saved so many. They were the luck ones the had private Dobbs with them, carrying something much bigger than a gun - he carried a bible and his faith.
