Surviving Summer (2022– )
2/10
Hilariously awful
10 June 2022
I've watched it with my friends when we were bored and we could not stop laughing. This show is 2/10 only because of the laughs. Otherwise, it's an absolute gutter.

The scenes do not make sense and there is a clear lack of any continuity between them. They either shot the show very weirdly or cut half of it in the cutting room.

Other than that, it is full of cringe interactions and cheesy dialogues.

Last but not least, it is filled with absolutely evident liberal propaganda. Yes, it's completely normal to see your father ironing the shirts, while your mother is in the shed, repairing something. Or a skate ramp...with no boys, just 2 girls skateboarding... I could go on.

The motto of this show is: "Don't think about it." The more you think about anything happening in this show, the more ridiculous and hilarious it gets.

PS: When I read the reviews of 10/10 I had to intervene. This show is something you definitely want to avoid -unless you have 2 braincells or want to get drunk with friends and laugh at it.

It's going downhill
23 February 2022
This season's been going downhill. This was an absolutely unfunny, and insultingly subpar episode. Voices are still off and "Tolkien" was in subtitles, which means it wasn't a joke. South Park's lately become a huge disappointment.

Airbus instructional video
19 February 2022
This documentary should be shown to every new Airbus employee and executive, to learn how you should NOT do it.

Now on a more serious note: An interesting and sometimes even thrilling documentary, which was well-paced, had great interviews and outstanding music. It could've been a bit shorter, but if you like documentaries, it's definitely worth a watch.

STOP CHANGING VOICES!
14 February 2022
Last two episodes were decent, don't get me wrong. But stop changing voices of your iconic characters! 1st episode it was Mr. Mackey and now Stan? I swear if you change Cartman's or Butters' voice, this show is over for me. Even as a lifelong fan, I can't swallow such changes.

Oh, and since my last review got deleted, I just wanted to add - both episodes had songs and both sucked.

A good background noise
7 August 2021
A decent TV show to watch, when you're doing something else.

However, the way it smoothly transitions from catching burglars with machetes to teenagers smoking pot is hilarious.

I also wanted to add that Barbara Ashton can suck a ****. Imagine feeling so proud of yourself for catching 3 young girls smoking a joint, or 2 lads sitting on a bench, enjoying the view of a pond, smoking a joint. Really pathetic.

A missed opportunity
17 July 2021
This could have been an interesting mini docu series about the intricacies of espionage. However, I could not make myself finish even the third episode.

The show is so fast paced, you'd think it was made for someone with an attention span of a goldfish. I want to think about the facts you've presented, but I can't because the show is already talking about something entirely different.

However, what's more infuriating is the narrator. He is an epitome of an ignorant American for me. I mean, how do you mispronounce Edward Snowden? Not to talk about the countless butcherings of the pronunciation of foreign names on his part. And also how do you mispronounce a word, you've pronounced right 2 minutes ago? No clue. Simply ignorant.

I just want to mention other things here that made me rate this below average:

  • Plethora of stock footage
  • Very poor writing
  • Constant repeating
  • Very fast pacing
  • Not enough time given to read the explanations of various terms
  • Clear political bias
  • Feels like a cheap Youtube video at times

The only positive about this were the interviews, which were cut too short anyway.

I advise everyone to stay away from this.

I enjoyed it
24 June 2021
I haven't read the book but I enjoyed the movie. It was a thrilling experience with great performances and intriguing camera work. I don't care what die-hard fans of the book say, it doesn't deserve 5/10.

Insultingly bad
17 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The documentary is all over the place. It consists of incompetent LAPD making a little too many "honest mistakes", sad and irritating websleuths (looking at you, Sobhani) who do not mind destroying innocent lives in order to feel somewhat important and unsuccessful youtubers who tried to capitalize on Elisa's sad story. Add a ton of conspiracies that lead nowhere, reuse the same video and audio footage several times, and you get this artificially drawn out pseudo-documentary. It tries to be so many things, it fails to be anything.

A few cheesy scenes won't ruin it
11 January 2021
A decent horror mockumentary with great performances, scary atmosphere, interesting plot, but unfortunately, some occasional cheesy scenes. On the other hand, almost no cliches are present and characters act rational (most of the time). Overall I enjoyed it.

Disturbingly good

A low-budget horror mockumentary about serial killer and his found footage. This may sound boring or cliche, but the movie is neither.

OG South Park has never left
6 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This episode had everything a classic South Park episode should have. They really made fun of everyone and everything that's happened in 2020 - stupid people, Karens, zoom calls, the police and its defunding, the US president, mayors, China, riots, and I could go on. It also included another Cartman's song and a Kenny's death (both of which we haven't seen in a while).

This is why love South Park. They don't discriminate, they just put up a mirror for all of us.

ATROCIOUS SUBTITLES
29 September 2020
This show is a hidden gem for all fans of crimi series. Definitely recommend watching. However, is Netflix really that incompetent to not proof-read the subtitles they receive? I mean, "coffee" instead of "copy", "speaking german" when she's clearly speaking Welsh (WHAT TRANSLATOR DOESN'T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO LANGUAGES??? NONE!), countless omissions, several "INAUDIBLE" instead of subtitles .... I mean... is this for real? I'm literally furious. I've survived the subs in 1st episode but the subs in 2nd are unbearable. How can you write inaudible in closed captions? This show is really worth it but Netflix should step it up because when a foreigner like me can understand more than a person writing the English subtitles, something is wrong.

I could write an extensive review about this series. However, I will not, because it is not necessary. This is how Star Wars should be done. This is the way.

Another filler episode
6 November 2019
I am giving it 4 stars only because of more screentime for Negan and J.D. Morgan's great acting. However, even his plotline was nonsensical, not to mention other plotlines which were plain stupid.

To be honest, I really don't care about the development of new characters in the 10th season. I don't care about them, their acting is bad, they could be killed right off and I wouldn't even blink. I want to see the main plot move forward. Unfortunately, it moves extremely slow, which will be the death of the show.

And of course they ended it on cliffhanger, just when things started to be interesting. I hate when I don't finish watching a show, however TWD might be the first one for me.

One more episode like this and I'm out
3 November 2019
Seriously, one more episode that will be this mediocre, uninsteresting, boring and sometimes even plain stupid, and I am out. After 10 seasons, I can't bear this anymore. The plot is barely moving forward, they tease you with cliffhangers that are developed three episodes later, I could go on. I've had enough.

Unexpectedly boring

Warning: Spoilers
The episode: Looks like a huge fight, nice. Alpha, nice. Wow, what? Negan, nice. And then boring talk, boring flashbacks and boring visions, weird jumpscare? boring talk. Nice, Negan again. An interesting sequence with him, and then boring talk, boring talk, boring talk, cliffhanger. You can do better.

So far so good.
18 October 2019
The pilot struck a perfect balance of drama and comedy and set the tone for the show.

I was kept in suspense throughout the episode even if I knew what to expect, since I saw the trailer. What's more, the comedy did not feel forced or overused and created a nice balance.

You can really appreciate the acting skills of Paul Rudd as well. He is really good and makes his character believable. Also it must have been quite difficult to shoot.

I like the idea, I like the acting, I like the cinematography, I like the music. People might think that this kind of idea is washed-up but I disagree. The pilot made me excited so it's done its job.

I like the topicality
10 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Many people dislike the fact that the creators have lately been making fun of topical things, and claim that it is lazy. But I disagree. I think that's the beauty of it. Imagine rewatching this show in 5 years and remembering all the stupid stuff people did and SP's portrayal of it. Great episode with memorable puns and jokes. This season's been really satisfying so far.

PS: I got all the shots as a child and I have to admit... I think I am a little artistic.

How are they able to hit the nail on the head almost everytime? Great episode. PS: Everyone who hated the first episode of this season because they thought the creators started leaning left in politics... Just watch this episode and shut up.

Matt and Trey, are you high?
26 September 2019
A great episode, South Park is back on track. But they were high when they added the episode on their webpage. It's weirdly cut and the first five minutes looped again. But I get it. Tegridy farms.
