Peacemaker: The Choad Less Traveled (2022)
what a emotional ride!!! NOT A FILLER
There is lot of insides on the background of the main characters. This is NOT A Filler but a setup for a character arc of many characters, like peacemaker's father, peacemaker himself. Here we also see leota's role in the show and whole lot more!
When james gun told the show is going many places, from first 3 episodes never thought the show is going to go
dark as in drama. Gun also said not to drop all 8 episodes at once to hbo, now I understand why. People would have misinterpreted the series in a binge watch. Someone is already labelling this episode as a filler, when this is about the motivation and laying the building ground for the reason of their actions.
Chugyeokja (2008)
This is a masterpiece for crime thriller lovers
I literally have no words how to describe this movie. Everything is so perfectly placed. Hats off to the director. I have just finished watching this movie. There is not a moment where it feels uninteresting. The subplots and the side characters like the child make the plot is heavy. By heavy I mean makes the viewer care for her mother and what will happen to her, you want her to survive but the surprise of end result is so unpredictable. You see movies that plays for the main character but not this one, here everything happens against his fate. The main character is very clever yet the plot is 10 steps ahead of him. This deserves way more than 7.8 rating.
Fear Street: 1994 (2021)
I mean I didn't expected anything
To be honest I don't expect much from this flims, even though it is from R L Stine. I mean his books are amazing when I read as a teenager but as movies they don't capture like not even 50% of the thrill. So I just go watch this movies with a passtime mindset. I knew there will be cliches, plot holes filled all over the movie but gotta give credit for the cinematography tho, Love the sets and the visuals. Didn't felt like a cheap movie.
Hard Candy (2005)
A very intense flim
At first I expected the plot to revolve around jeff's side, with how he kills hayley, like how the serial killer movies go by. But this was unexpected and turned out to be very very good psychological drama thriller.
I was amazed by Elliot's acting, the micro expressions all over the movie, specially at the beginning was just amazing how she portrayed a vulnerable girl and then later reveals she is not who we think she is.
Of Course this may be an one time watch because of details held in the film. Many may find it very disturbing to watch, even tho there is literally no gore scene, just the reactions of the actors.
Pace wise, Some may find slow at times as the movie starts with very fast cutscenes and then slows down sometimes to increase the burn. I mean I know it is part of the cinematography to build shots to control the feel of the scene. Still It was worth noticing though.
