The Christmas Chronicles (2018)
Ha! Ha! Ha!
Kurt as Santa Rocks! Deserves to be a Christmas Classic!!!
Little Italy (2018)
Feel Good Movie!
Rom-Com with predictable story, pre-determined by the title. Sweet story where love continues to bloom over time. Even if the families are at odds.
I enjoyed it, put a smile on my face.
Noticed the negative comments. Today, we are a beautiful evolving country (Canada) blend. Where were a mixed bag of stereotypes and off beat, not so much the norm.
Andrea Martin always brings a smile to my face. She is unique and beautiful as the first day I met her years ago on Bloor street in Toronto.
Thank you for a sweet movie. Much needed in these tough times. Love smiling.
Blue Bloods: My Aim Is True (2018)
Great finale!
Absolutely loved this episode...and all seasons. This one left me smiling and feeling euphoric.
Tom Selleck the leader of this fabulous show, integrity, respect, honesty and most of all love.
Kudos to all.
Thank you.
Blue Bloods (2010)
Love it!
Love Tom Selleck, love the cast!
Great writing, great directing.
Awesome crew.
Wish Tom had a romantic interest , would be a great story line for season 9 ( just saying)
Gladiator (2000)
Absolutely Love This!
Powerful movie, Ridley Scott's visions is magnificent. All elements fused together like a well oiled machine.
Character development, excellent by all the actors. Emotions fully expressed and both loved and hated, yet loved them for the clarity communicated across the screen.
A great movie moves the audience into a love/ hate relationship with sympathy, empathy, apathy and anger.
The whole spectrum of emotions including love in all its forms.
Editing, musical scores, simply filled with multiple levels of passion.
Ridley excelled in his vision, where we the audience, were completely engrossed in the film, from start to finish.
I've watched this over and over. When I listen to the haunting musical score of the film. I'm quickly transported to the scene where Russell walks through the field. Spectacular!
I could give this film way more than 10!
Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014)
Disappointed
I love Ridley Scott and his vision. A big production that lost elements of the story. Mistaken juxtaposition, bits and pieces felt passionate, as is Mr Scott's usual storytelling. Mismatched, plenty of holes, character development fail. The actors weren't genuine to their roles. Felt all over the place.
My reveiw pretty much sums up my discombobulated view, broken.
Was it the way it was edited?
Love Christian Bale for all of his other roles. Perhaps Moses would have been better cast with someone unknown. Or lesser known. Just a thought.
The Lurking Man (2017)
Powerful story! Must see.
Loved this film of redemption, filled with twists and turns of complex emotions anesthetized by alcoholism to forget mistakes of the past. When do the mistakes finally go away? When does the ache for refusing to accept frail personality clinks, drowned by bottles, to dismiss scars that are deep and still seeping blood.
Great cast led by Maritza and Daniel. Their combative communications to get down to the bottom of the dark past. The cast brought their characters full circle.
Incredible story, written by Keith and Maritza. Movie has heightened the desire to want to include reading the book. Amazing emotions, I too felt her grief and torn on how to feel about Cailean. Her turmoil immense. Trying to keep it together, haunted by her past. Love cant save her, the bandaid and illusions are ripped off and shattered. Many confusing actions of her own destruction, no matter how hard she tries, she falls. Doing the same thing expecting different results kept her repeating life lessons.
Enjoyed the threads of turmoil and fight to try and "be good". A good mother, a good lover, hard to be good if you forgot who you are, after all the years of suppression. Her inner conflicts relayed in her relationships parents, lover, child and her inner child.
Thoroughly enjoyed the suspense that led to the conclusion that was an incredible twist. Loved it! Would certainly love to see a part two to this, desiring to see Cailean in her new powerful role. She was always strong, her intense love carried her through to do "the right thing".
Indie film with a tug of the heart that keeps me hooked to further discover Caileans final decision. Congratulations to everyone.
