Behind Her Eyes (2021)
*sigh* this trope again..
The idea for the plot was really cool. Could have been a good limited series. However, they made literally every minority into a sort of villain (except the child).. both of the adult black people were cheaters, and of course. Of Course. The only gay person was a serial killer murderer obsessed with a straight guy. Seriously??? Aren't we tired of making the only minorities in our shows into villains? Apparently not. The only people they allowed to be good or neutral in this show were the white het people. Aren't you tired of this? I'm tired of this. I'm giving it 3 stars cause if they had actual decent representation and had done it right it would have been pretty good. But instead it just left me wondering about the state of things where a big show like this thinks that's alright to have that be the only queer representation.
Boudica: Rise of the Warrior Queen (2019)
Catfish
You look at the art and think, okay. This is going to be about the powerful queen of yore. Nope. They spend most of the time in the woods before she is ever a Queen and except for one scene she is portrayed as weak and fragile. Kind of an affront to her name and history imo.
