I passed over this film for over a year mainly because the movie's description seemed a boring premise. Wow, was I wrong! This is a truly a superior cinematic ghost story, along with some twists and turns, superior acting with a fantastic mystery script and a very dynamic soundtrack! What more could you ask for? Was it an uncomfortable film? Not at all! It absorbs you into it's dark atmosphere, but it provides you with various clues as you go. Sharp acting, with notables like Diana Rigg and Terrance Stamp: but the real deal goes to Thomasin McKenzie, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Matthew Smith. Very convincing characters! This will make a "classic" Halloween showing! Just an overall fun and haunting trip! Enjoy it and Thank You Edward wright! For Diana......

A superb and eerie ghost story belonging and watched over by Stephen King....just in time for Halloween! The acting is above par, and the script excellently superb! I must admit I love a good ghostly tale without all the blood and the need to turn every light in the house on. This is such a well constructed telling of one of King's many frightful stories, with all the intense character building, and all the right atmosphere! This is a must see for the genre fan. You will appreciate the quality...especially this time of year! Both Donald Sutherland and Jaednen Martell play their assigned characters like the trained masters they are, with a supporting cast that is excellent, giving us a tale of the cost of revenge and the turmoil of youth. Without a doubt I find this on my favorites for haunting stories!

Well written for what it is, a depressing cop drama ,excellently performed by Gibson and Vaughn, a slow boiler that drags on and is anti climatic. While it is worth viewing it is not, by any means, a landmark movie. I feel the strain of the characters, but I cannot really could not give them enough empathy to make me become totally enhanced with the film. Still it delivers what it set out to, but it could have been better in the editing department, which becomes understandable when reading the triva page by IMDb. Best watched with a partner so as not to get depressed by the characters, in which, as previously stated all the actors were above par, and bring you into their conflict, just hard to empathize with their actions while relating to their problems. Gibson is a pro!

If you are looking for a horror movie to tingle you, this isn't it. If you want to see a fairy tale type fantasy of good vs evil, this is great! The werewolves aren't about horror, they are just about evil and it's attempt to take control of a kingdom. You have to view it a s "A Princess Bride" on steroids. If that is your mood, you will find it a fun fantasy tale and overall enjoyable. The "Howling" it is not.......best enjoyed in a 'relaxed state of mind. There is an atrocity, followed by a quest, add some growing up of a young boy into a man, a good soundtrack, some pitiful but fantasy werewolves. The eternal battle of good vs evil, and there you have it! A "fun" movie. No reason to try and take it to serious, just laugh at some parts , be startled by some scenes, and accept this as a fantasy adventure, not a horror" movie. That all said, yes I liked it!

I cannot say I didn't enjoy this Indie production, because I found myself just sitting watching this drama play out. Yes, I actually found it a good 90 minutes spent. I would recommend to any western movie lover.

A well written, well acted and well directed tale of personal horror, of loss, of abandonment, of the inequities of the human soul. Yes, I found this very good, not a comfortable film, but one of excellence.

Very atmospheric tale of horror, excellently scripted with above average acting. Kind of brings out the "wee...people" in ya! I found it to be edgy and told in a fantastic piece of cinema. Just plain CLASSIC!

Marvel Universe just keeps on growing and continues to astound! I am a Moon Knight fan of old, and was excited when I saw that they were going to tackle him in six weekly episodes. I got so much more than I expected (as seems to be the score for MCU!) story wise and acting wise! All around super series! A must see!

I must say that for an action movie it does move right along, however if not for the excellent acting, a rather weak adventure story with a lot of endless running around. Great CGI. Very good soundtrack. Just not a very good story....... I wanted to love it, but it just left me mildly amused. Forgettable might be the best I can offer.

Hail Sean Ellis! Well written, excellently acted , horrifying take on the werewolf genre. A story line that absorbs you into it's premise then takes you on a cinematic journey! A must see for the mature horror film fan!

Sometimes you just sit down to a movie with no lofty expectations....and sometimes you get blown away! This is a jewel in a cavern of false gold. I can not say enough about the superb acting all around, but especially by Mark Rylance, Zoe Deutch and Johnny Flynn A plot that is just fun! A movie that is just what a movie should be! This is a keeper! Watch it!

A beautifully told "ghost" story, with a great script and an actress in Wilson that pulls off this "ghost story" with excellent eerie moodiness! Does it build slow....yes...but it has to, that empty gut feeling that transforms you to "just keep watching". How this can have such a low IMDB rating is unfathomable! This is the ultimate, moody, chilling film, and as a "haunting" film is near the top!

Wow.....there are no words to express the stupidity of this script....bad lines, crazy story, not the best acting...and I even disliked the soundtrack. Pass on this, waste of an hour and a half.
