Game of Thrones: The Iron Throne (2019)
What happened?
This feels like a essay written the night before it was due. Lack of flow and well thought out ideas. My farts could make a better season finale. I really am disappointed. I hope when the books are written hbo will come back and rewrite these last two seasons based off the books not these D&D writers who should never be allowed back in Hollywood again. This show was my life every spring and summer sundays and now I would never watch it again. Unbelievable, I hope HBO recognizes this as a failure and never allows a show to fall this hard again.
Game of Thrones: The Long Night (2019)
Don't listen to bad reviews.
Very well done show! Brought me back to the Lord of the Rings battles and wow just wow who knew Arya would be the one! Very good surprise.
Lighting was not bad, people need to stop watching the pirated episodes lol that has bad lighting, on hbo it's amazing.
Only thing I'm sad that the worst enemy died so soon but there's more twists to come! I know it! Very excited to see how this plays out!
How It Ends (2018)
Poor writing and it doesn't lead to anywhere?
Opening scenes felt like a crappy sci-fi channel movie and then it went all downhill afterwards. Great actors but feels like a Ferrari in a slum. The movie had so many mini plots that didn't lead anywhere but to the bin. Corny action scenes and corny father and son in law bonding trip while the world is ending. It doesn't connect each mini plot is incomplete. The ending was like wtf? Did she cheat on him? And then the corny I love you right before all hell breaks lose.
Theories pop up at the end like the movie scenes are out of order. Then they escape death in a 80s 90 era Jeep from a cloud of fire and ash coming at them 100s of miles per hour. Yah sure this movie was trash and not even worth 10 mins of anyone's time.
13 Reasons Why: Bye (2018)
Wake up
We are okay with the women getting raped in this show but when a guy gets raped, it's "too graphic, omg no, eww, Horrible! Why would they show us that?" (I know it wasn't sexually intended but It was rape in my book)
This episode wasn't what we expected and we all wanted a happy ending but that's not how life works.
Males get raped and it's just as hard as it is on women. We need to have a conversation about rape and school shootings and this was it. This was a "hey America wake the f up" from childish Gambino to this episode. From Columbine to Las Vegas and Parkland. This shows us who we are as a country and we need to take a step back and fix it. It's defining us.
I'm not against guns but neither am I against helping out people mentally and being safe rather than sorry. We as Americans need to re-evaluate our lives; we are falling apart as a people and a country if we don't start communicating. 13 reasons is one of those stepping stones to help us get to that conversation.
