Limitless (2015–2016)

I think this is/was? a GREAT show.
11 July 2016
Warning: Spoilers
I don't understand why people who don't like chocolate cake waste their time reviewing chocolate cake.

I personally don't like chocolate cake so I am not going to waste my time reviewing something doesn't stand a chance of impressing me.

If you don't like this kind of show then fine, move on. I love this show. It has everything, The writing is great and the cast is well balanced. The casting throws in some eye candy without making it over the top.

The first season is over. I thought the ending of the season finally was creative with Finch going around interviewing the people who might be on the team in the future. Limitless is well written and entertaining. It naive to think that someone wouldn't tap that amazing potential that Brian Finch presents but it keeps a lid on the possible competition with the dangerous side effects.

Limitless is a great continuation of the movie and the first season has laid the ground wound work to take the show in so many different directions.

Oh Please stop your whining
14 November 2007
I don't know what all the fuss is about this movie. I just finished watching it and I thought it was funny. Sure your going to sprout any new brain cells or anything from it and it was some deep social commentary. It was just a light funny movie and I think it accomplished what it set out to do. It entertained me for the run of the movie. I don't know why it did so poorly at the box office. It was a funny.

I know that no movie can entertain or please everybody and if you are looking for depth or human drama look for another title....if you want to laugh and enjoy yourself then pick up Marci X and have a laugh.

I'll bet that no matter what your favorite movie is that there are people who don't like it. I am glad I didn't check this board before watching it or I would have probably missed a funny movie.

Alright but not up to the hype
16 August 2007
This movie was a good way to spend some time. Paul Giamatti was in form. Thomas Haden Church was entertaining as always. But Sideways didn't live up to all the hype in my book. I think I would have enjoyed it better if I wasn't expecting so much out of it. I will probably enjoy it more. When I watch it again, sometime down the road. It had a good story, well acted and good production values. But again I don't think any movie could have lived up my expectations of what I was expecting after all I had heard. The best thing about watching this movie is being able to see the truly spectacularly beautiful Virginia Madsen.

First off..........
2 April 2007
First off I didn't see the original Van Wilder, Wanted too.....just one of those movies that slipped through the cracks. Second I thought VW2 was pretty good, yes it was formulaic but so are so many other movies now and that in and of itself shouldn't be a reason to trash a movie. I'm not saying it was a great movie but I do think it was far better than it is being given credit for here. I wasn't sure why a movie would bear the name of a character that doesn't appear in the movie and it is painfully obvious that was a grab for addition ticket sales and rentals. I think this was as good as a lot of movies that are rated far higher on IMDb. I am also looking forward to seeing the careers of Holly Davidson and Lauren Cohan mature.

This was another good show that never had a chance
30 November 2006
This was a good show that never had a chance. This could have been a great show with a little time and a chance to mature. It started better than most and never had a chance. The cast was GREAT but it's highlight was Amy Adams. I knew right away that this was going to be a problem because this stunning, talented actress was always listed as a guest star. I knew she wasn't going to be around nearly long enough. I though it was funny and ironic that the show aired ONCE after she left. There were other great additions to the cast and I thought they worked and meshed well together. Once again the network never gave a chance to a great show with lots of potential. One don't some of the execs get canceled?

Tabitha (1976–1978)

This should have gotten a better shot
16 November 2006
This was a great little show and I know that I am one of the few that remembers it. This is the show that made me a fan of the beautiful and talented Lisa Hartman (Clint I hope you know how lucky you are). This was a great premise based on the daughter Tabitha (hence the name) from the TV Show Bewitched, But little Miss Tabitha is all grown up now and dealing with the world on her own. Over the years I have mentioned this show to many because this is where my mind goes when I think of Miss Hartman since I was never a fan of the prime time soaps. Great little show that deserved a better shot and maybe it's time it got another one.

Great Television
19 October 2006
Every once in a while a great new TV show steps out of the box and delivers an actually originally new series. I thought this was a great series and looked forward to watching every week. The cast was great and chemistry. This was an excellent showcase for Jeremy and Paula. If this show was still on I would still be watching. It was well written and really made you wonder if he was who he claimed to be. He had a great way of getting to the seed of the guests problem and helping them to get the love they were looking for. There was obvious opportunities for a love interest to develop between the main characters and I looked forward to seeing how all this would play out. In Short..... This show should still be on TV and I am not the only one to think so. I have seen many bootleg copies of this show on ebay. I would be great if it came out on DVD.

Now and Again (1999–2000)

This is without qualification, one of the best shows ever shot in this genre
15 January 2006
And the "genius" that canceled it should be shot as well. I loved this show and NEVER missed it.

All these years later it still pains me to see the cast working on other projects when they should be celebrating the continued success of Now and Again. Eric Close, Margaret Colin, Dennis Haysbert, John Goodman (althought all too briefly) did and outstanding job. This was a great premise and the writing and production quality were brilliant. I would still love to see the cast reunite and make a movie to close the cliffhanger ending that never closed when the show didn't return for the second season. Then bring the whole thing out on DVD. Great premise, great cast, great characters, and plots, I'll never understand why it was canceled.
